Saw some screenshots from FFXII. I'm liking it. The chars look a lil young though. I'm hoping we dont have another Tidus...
Heres a little info from Playstation Magazine about FFXII:
"Before FFXII's grand re-unveiling at Square-Enix party 2005 in Tokyo this past July, speculation ran rampant: Had the characters and setting changed completely? Had battle switched to the active battle system? Had the game changed totally beyond recognition?
Answer: No. Though some unexpected staff changeovers delayed development, Final Fantasy XII is most likely the same as the last time we saw it at E3 in May. The good news is that everyone on the project remains committed to Yasumi Matsuno's original vision, and Final Fantasy XII is still unlike any previous Final Fantasy Games.
The cast is unchanmged: Air-ship Vaan, warrior princess Ashe, Vaan's girlfrien Penelo, disgraced knight Basch, deadly bunny girl Fran, and sky pirate Balefar. The world is still Ivalice, the quasi-medieval setting of Vagrant Story anf Final Fantasy Tatics. The batles still take place in real time, directly on the field, with AI controlled party members-Think FFXI.
New to the Demo were powerful summon spells. A summon replaces 2 party memebers with a huge guardian beast. Shown were Velius (Fire) and Hashmalum (Earth)-beasts from Ivalice pantheon-in lieu of more traditional Ifrit and Titan. FFXII has a Japanese release date of March 16, 2006, with an American release to follow later in the year."
You know, some of us like to watch the action and not read all the time.
That, and the Japanese talk really fast, or at least faster than I can read . I found myself hitting the pause when I saw long sub come up on the screen.

Yeah, that looks like its going to be pretty good. I'm a big fan of tactics, so I'm hoping for the best. I like the real time battling system. I think that's going to make things very interesting. I just didn't want another Tidus....

Thats funny since Ifrit and Titan both appeared in FFT. I take it these characters are from VS more than Tactics?
Life goes on, long after the thrill of living is gone.
I love X-Men 2. It's sweet. I love how the gameplay flows, and the graphics are amazing. its 100 times better than the first one. Def. pick it up. Also pick up Ult Spider-man, and the Incredible Hulk if you havent yet.

Caja Negra: It's more than a band, it's a feeling.
Havent heard much about it. X-men legends 2 is a great rpg. As for Hulk, it's a lot like the Spider-man 2 game in which you have the main mission to accomplish, as well as side missions. Then you earn smash points that allow you to buy upgrades. Marvel Nemesis is a sweet fighting game, and graphics rock, but gameplay gets old fast. As for Ult Spider-man, you can't tell when the game begins and the cinemas end!
