Harrier and Cyclone are Spidey villians so assuming both of them plus Joystick could show up in a set later down the line. Maybe even Absolute Carnage.
I like to think of it as him shrinking the objects down
That’s better, but the flavour text shows that wasn’t the intended idea. Also, Hank Pym should be able to grow giant-sized. He’s Marvel’s biggest (haha) size changer. Or at least he was before the MCU gave Scott the spotlight.

Assembled Avengers: Once per turn when Quake hits, after resolutions you may roll a d6. 5-6: If your force has 3+ friendly characters with the Avengers keyword, remove an action token from Quake -or- give an action token to a hit target. If your force has 6+, do both. Espionage: Stealth, 웃: █, ⦿:█. Pinpoint Earthquakes...Or Just Earthquakes: Quake. When Quake uses it you may choose one: choose an unoccupied square within her range and she may use Quake as if she occupied that square -or- Quake can use Giant Reach: X, where X is her click #.

I've been sadden to see Kamala Kan taking the spot of the giant in the back in promotional materials. Nothing against her, but that's Hank's spot.

I’m glad to see someone else who appreciates the visual appeal of a giant in a group shot.
Since Hank is busy being “dead” (because we wouldn’t want to confuse the MCU fans), I don’t mind Kamala taking that spot in the meantime. I like her, and I’m glad someone is still using size changing in both directions. Cassie Lang did that, too, but she barely shows up anymore.
"Whistles" Wow, now that is a Daisy Johnson means business.
Her "Quake" special is combined with Espionage is going to catch some sealed players by surprise and with the shared Assembled Avengers trait ( which should be possible to pull off in sealed ) she's got the chance to either keep on hitting or throw her main target for a loop.
Lets hear it for the new "Power Common!".

I think this set is the biggest turnaround in "level of excitement at announcement and prior to previews" to how excited I am now. When the set was announced and with the initial previews I figured it'd be a mostly easy skip, grab a couple SRs, the FF and the CUR figures I specifically want, skip the rest, save some money for the JLU and FF sets later in the year.
Instead I have now bought a full CURSR set as there's just so many of the SRs that are insanely cool new characters and even the usual remakes that we've had a few too many times are at least interesting. Helps that it is relatively extremely villain heavy compared to the sets prior to Dark Phoenix which was villain heavy as well, too many sets in the previous years were hero heavy.
While I am nowhere near that, the previews have me excited for sealed events. The games should be interesting, although I am concerned they are going to be long and slow - I am curious to see if my expectations are correct.
I wonder if this set was billed as Thunderbolts: Justice Like Lightning or Masters of Evil: Avengers Under Siege from the get go, and they focused on the villains with the initial info-release, if I would have a better feeling about the set.
I am curious about getting many of the Masters of Evil and some T-Bolts for my Marvel villain squads.
I don't expect to keep many of the heroes / generics because I really do have a lot of them and honestly, I'm not one to use Iron Man, Thor, Black Panther, Captain America, etc often because I face them a lot and I actively avoid using figures my opponent's often use.
I will attend the pre-release and I am considering buying a few singles that first week due to the release week Floor event where I need 150 points from this set (if I can pull an interesting 150, I won't buy any singles until the prices drop). I am looking forward to using this set for our WKO sealed, too.
But for me, there is NO WAY it comes even within sniffing distance of:
Fantastic Four set
JLU (best set of the year)
and even the Carnage set (presuming we get TONS of Spider-Verse alternate Spider-Mans and the other characters).
I will have fun with the pieces I play and I will be targeting a few pieces, but I think I will likely keep in my collection somewhere between 9-14 pieces, which is on par for Avenger-Centric teams.
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
For 10 points you can have both in the form of a Reality Gem.
I do indeed often turn to the Gems to fill out the missing powers from a Theme Team: Reality for TK and Perp, Space for Taxi, Time for PC. But I’d rather just play with the figs if I can. I’m bummed that Sidewinder didn’t have some Outwit or PC.
