We don't take things too seriously and the thread floats from one topic to the next. Essentially this is a haven away from a lot of the negativity and general obnoxious behavior of many general discussion threads. We also tend to slap each other quite often.

A Brief Ogristory:

One day, SLVRSR4 repped me a funny comment, and I repped him back answering his comment. I then felt the need to share this funny little story with the community, namely because I said that his rep helped me reach my goal of having all 10 of my most recent rep being from 1 month.

The thread I started was titled "Rep Goals?" and went on for almost 6,000 posts about nonsense with all of the posters repping each other, eventually with the cumulative goal of pushing Savaged_Puck off the first page of the rep list (he was a mod for wowrealms and used his mod status to give himself 10M Rep). This was the cause of the great repflation of 2010/2011.

Anyway, after this thread was deleted by the admins (not shut down mind you, completely nuked), Miraclo started "Ogre Slap" which is an anagram of "Rep Goals". From that day forth, we have called ourselves "Ogres" (which subsequently fight "Trolls"), and "repping" is now called "Slapping". Ogre Slap almost made it to 10,000 posts before it was nuked, so we decided to manually shut our threads down at 2,000 posts so we can have access to the posts, you know, just in case.
