The new Crisis set brought us figures from some old storyline favorites like Crisis on Infinite Earths, as well as more recent efforts like 52 and Countdown. Each was a different crossover, with different events and foci, but all had a number of things in common.
What is the unifying theme of each of the following groups of Crisis figures?

When our story opens, the Question is investigating an impossible locked-room murder mystery involving a midget and a 6'6"-tall call girl into heavy bondage. Don't worry, I'll explain later. It's all vitally relevant.

1. Alias that were later used by other people.
2. What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.
3. They all shared a hotel room one night, but, since the girls are underage, Monarch denies everything to the point where he destroyed an entire universe to shut up the gossipers.
4. all three of these guys have been thought to of died and come back.
--and yes, it's the one about the underage girls.

3. These three were alias' used by other people before the current people used them, WG was (Pre-COIE)Donna Troy, now it's Cassie. Monarch (Armageddon 2001) was Hawk, now (post A2001) he's Capt Atom, Supergirl (post-COIE) was Linda Danvers, now she's Kara.
4. All three tried to change reality itself. Anti-Monitor in COIE, GL during Zero hour and Alex Luthor in Infinate Crisis.
5. All three of these guys were altered. K Kid several times, Post COIE, Post Zero Hour and again post IC origin changed each time. Green Arrow, post COIE, had a revamped origin, post-IC another origin change. Same with Jericho.
Theme 1 was "characters who took on new identities during one of the Crisis crossovers." Theme 2 was "characters killed during..." Theme 3 was "characters who were retconned by..." Theme 4 was "characters who were the main villain in..." Theme 5 was "characters who died and came back to life."
Theme 5 probably should have had more to do with Crisis, I know.

--This question is half-inappropriate for this thread. I'm half-affronted.

Well... no and yes. You're thinking of the DC Vs Marvel bit back in the early 90's, that wasn't a JLA Vs Avengers. And in that case, they were seperated by the two "Brothers" themselves, with help from Batman and Captain America. Best part of that story was those two.
However, in the JLA Vs Marvel story, at the end, it's Hal Jordan as the Spectre who seperates the two Earths, so, in that, you are right. The Tribunal had nothing to do with it. And the Spectre involved in the previous cross-over wasn't Hal.
I'll give it to you anyhow, as you had it right, more or less.
So the question was half-inappropriate, but the answer was totally appropriate, is that what you're saying? I can dig it.
Ha! Yes! I take the thread on a technicality. That's the best way. F'real.
The Young All-Stars were half pre-existing characters (Dan the Dyno-Mite, Sandy the Golden Boy) and half newly developed characters. In a few cases, these new characters were later revisited or made to take on roles that other characters had been retconned out of - such as Helena "Fury" Kosmatos being the mother of Lyta "Fury" Trevor-Hall after Wonder Woman got de-Earth-2'ed.*
Which Young All-Star character has been essentially invisible and unheard-of since that series folded, and which Earth-2 character was he/she most likely replacing?
