"All right lady," Sandman said, "Ya caught me by surprise, but ya can't hurt a guy made out of sand with pig-stickers like those. I'm betting I can hurt you pretty bad though."

"Only if you hit me, which isn't likely," Elektra said, dodging Sandman's great fists with effortless grace.

"Elektra!" Daredevil called out from the plane's wing. "Get up here! You'll be safer!"

"Matt...?" Elektra hesitated, just for a moment. It was all the time the Skrull needed to bring her down.

"Gullible humans," the Skrull tsked, changing back from the form of Daredevil to his own.

"Man, I can't believe I'm actually fighting alongside a Skrull," the Human Torch lamented, but happily picked off Nebula.

"Our records show that you married one of us," the Skrull reminded him.

"Well yeah," Johnny stumbled, "but she was different."

"Heroes and your double standards," Kraven shook his head. "Pitiful." The hunter chose a bolo from his arsenal of weaponry and threw it at Black Adam.

"This?" Black Adam said as he put up his arm to block it. The weighted line wrapped itself around his forearm. "You seek to hurt me with this primitive thing? You're the pitiful one."

"Am I?" Kraven asked. The weights at the end of the line released an immense electrical charge that went through the line and shocked Black Adam.

"You are more resourceful than I gave you credit for," Black Adam admitted. "I'll not give you the chance to make another attack."

Nebula was decent, as always, Elektra...didn't work too well at all. Didn't even really get a chance to use her well but still think she's not worth much.

I've lost a lot of points here. I'll use this time to add Sinestro E. He's at HI2,3. From there he attacks Sandman (after Robin outwits his Skrull ta). Needs 4. rolls 6. SS is 5. Wanda rerolls a 5.

"Excuse this one," Mantis says from behind Sinestro. She leaps over him and smacks Sandman in the gut with a signature martial artist move. She then jumps away looking for another victim of her skills.

"Perhaps and perhaps not," she replies. As she tries to outskill him the skrull simply changes shape.

"The answer is perhaps not," he laughs.

Mantis merely stays steadfast and determined.

Kraven wouldn't have taken any damage from Damage Shield. It only works against close combat attacks, and Kraven hit him at range.

I do get lucky with my Skrulls, it's true. Perhaps that's why I play them so frequently.

"Warning. Target: Scarlet Witch's probability altering powers are making strategic calculations impossible." Deathlok's computer told him.

"Well, we'll just have to take care of that then, won't we?" Deathlok asked, targeting her. His pistol blew up in his hand as he pulled the trigger. Deathlok swore profusely.

"He's got a point," the Human Torch said, "Let's take 'er down!" He hit her with a series of fireballs, keeping up the pressure so she couldn't do another hex.

"She'll just run back to their medic again," Phoenix said. "I can't allow that." She flew forward, wafted by winds summoned by the Red Tornado and used the power of the Phoenix force to overwhelm Wanda before she could retreat again.

"It seems we are at an impasse," the Skrull said, having as little luck hitting Mantis as she had had hitting him.

"Or maybe not," War Machine said, arriving on the scene. "Cavalry's here." He succeeded in hitting Mantis where the Skrull had failed.

Hate to see Scarlet Witch go but she was around a long time. Even worse was the hit on Mantis but that was expected.

Physician rolls to heal Adam. Needs 7, gets 10. 6 is the heal roll. Sweet. I'll heal Adam one but Mantis 3 since his dv is so low it's easier to heal him.

If Mantis was hit for 3 by War Machine, she's off her Leap/Climb and on to Charge. She'd have to breakaway from the Skrull first of all, and even if she did, has no way off the plane. She wouldn't even be able to move more than one square before having to stop for being based by one of my other figures.
