I was torn between them and Human.

But one of the biggest reasons I always use Humans is the extra feat. And since you get like a hundred feats by level 29, I just don't see the point. There's plenty of feats to take, and plenty of time to get them.

The +2 bonus wherever you want it is cool, but why do that, when you can just take a race that's tailored for the stat you're looking for, and get something on the side as well?

And the extra trained skill is good, but....really, why?

On the other hand, I get 16's for my STR, INT, and CHA for my warlord, amaking him balanced for any power I decide to learn, a breath weapon that has a nice high attack I can depend on for softening up foes in each encounter, and a nice height.

This is true. However, having missed, at least Acid Arrow still does half damage.

Plus, we are the final boss.

Somehow...I was so hoping you would see that.

I can tell you seeing it is acres better than tasting it.

I haven't read through the feats, nor the skills. I just worked on getting my character sheet filled out.

If you use the Compendium, just look up your class name. You'll see a few feats pretty much tailor made for the class. That makes your 1st level easy to get done.

Or, alternatively, look up the name of your race. Each of them has some nice feats as well.

Like enlarging your acid vomit radius.

I'm more of a lightning vomit kinda guy.

Hey, not saying that Stepp should or shouldn't allow them, but I suggest that people who have the Monster Manual, take a look at the player races at the back of the book.
