So I got caught up on X-Force over the weekend. Uncanny X-Force is a great book and I'm a guy who normally hates all of the X-titles.

You should read X-Factor. It is consistently good and prides itself on not being a part of the regular X-universe. It just got done with a story recently involving Hela, Werewolf by Night, and Pip the Troll! Talk about not your run of the mill X-story!

I have to question how badly the Superman set really needs two Magog's and two Maxwell Lords in the CURSR slots, especially considering all the figures that could fit into one of their slots via a remake or never having been made before AND the potential that DC people might not get another chance to see 'classic' versions of their favorite characters for quite some time after this set. Not that I'm probably not going to be getting much of Superman nor am I more a DC person, but I do know that's what I'd be feeling if the tables were turned and it was Marvel in DC's position right about now.

The questioning will turn to annoyance should there not be a Steph Brown Batgirl in the set.

Why would there be a Stephanie Brown Batgirl in a Superman Set?

Because if they're really pushing the reboot and Barbara Gordon as Batgirl again, there might not be another chance to get an official version?

She's teamed up with Supergirl a few times, if you need her to have some kind of direct connection to the other characters in the set.

Just checking in! I made it on the first page for the previous thread but that was soooo last-week.

Finished the Lantern. Never thrilled with my own paint jobs, but I like this one OK. The part that I'm most bummed with is I have fibers running into the eyes, but they weren't enough to really stand out. Furthermore, I got a tiny bit of paint on one, and it completely shut it off. I painted over the other too just because it looked weird.

Couldn't you slide it out the eye, cut it and be good or do you not leave any slack on the other end?

Why would the reboot matter for Clixs? They made a Jason Todd Robin long after he was "killed" :-/

DC has a much tighter reign on what gets made than Marvel does. If DC is all about the reboot, like it seems they are, then the next DC sets may only have reboot characters and any old DCU characters may not get made.

Personally, I think the backpacks hide their 'roids and make them easy to carry around while the attraction to pink girly stuff is yet another side effect of 'roids that we're only seeing now because no one else has ever taken the stuff for so long.
