Ran this last week: Trick or Treat
800 pts/4 actions
Costumes (masks) and monsters
Costumes get Super Strength, Flight Ability, and Invulnerability
Monsters get Stealth, Super Senses, and B/C/F
Each time player attacks asks “TrT” Opponent answers
Trick – Attacking character chooses 1 standard attack or Damage power to use for attack
Treat – Attacking character gets +1 to any combat value
It was fun but I think I went a little overboard with the powers. Not a lot of people finished a 50 minute round.
Maybe try lowering the build and/or tweaking the powers

Reason: correction
We do something similar, but before an attack roll can be made, you roll a d6 and if it's 1-3, it's a trick and a 4-6 is a treat. We usually do something like an immediate outwit or give a prob or a perplex.
Here are two new scenarios I have done that were fun and liked.
Before Assassin's Creed clixs came out, we did a 500 pt Martial Artist vs Soldiers/Warriors. MAs represented the assassins and soldiers/warriors represented the Templers.
Another one we did shortly after no man's land was an Arkham city scenario. Players made 2 teams at 400. One team was just batman and batman allies, the other was bat villians, thugs, and inmates. Were only allow to use nml maps, quake side.
In the words of Rocket Raccoon:"Ain't no thing like me, 'cept ME!"
Classic Rivals
Each player brings two evenly matched rival teams (ie Xmen vs Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, SHIELD vs Hydra, Justice League vs Injustice League, Avenger vs Masters of Evil, etc) The point value of the two teams should be about equal but can be anywhere from 200 to 600 each. Each round players are paired off and roll off to determine which players teams will be used. The player whose teams are not used gets to pick which of their opponents teams they will play. Their opponent plays the other. Play then proceeds like a normal match.
Bounty Hunt
Each player brings a 400 point team and purchases a sealed booster. The Judge opens all the boosters and all the pieces from the boosters become his team. The judge sets up his team in the center of the map. The players then roll off and select starting areas around the edge of the map. Play proceeds as a free for all with the judge going last and having two actions per booster opened per turn. Any player that KO's one of the judges figures gets to keep it. Any of the judges figures that are KO'd by some other means go to the last player to damage them. Two hour time limit. Any of the judges figures that have not been KO'd by the end of the match are passed out to the players as fellowship prizes.
Traitors
Swiss rounds, 500 point teams, anything goes. At the beginning of each match before resources are assigned each player secretly writes down the name of one of their opponents figures. At the beginning of any turn after their first, a player may reveal the secret name. This character becomes a traitor and joins that players team for the remainder of the game. Any action tokens remain. If the character was assigned a resource, picked up an object or relic, or is piloting a vehicle they bring that with them to the new team and that teams player now controls them.
NO TEAM BASES
NO COLOSSALS
NO DUO FIGS
NO VEHICLES
NO FEATS/BFC
NO BYSTANDERS
Each time a player is KO put a token on their card and remove character from the map. Once per turn as a free action you may remove 1 token from 1 card and place that character, in the square that it was KO'd in, on their last non KO click. That character may use regeneration as a free action.
Player wins when all of opponent’s characters are off the board at the same time.
You will score the points of whatever characters are not on the map and the end of the round.
Resources are scored and destroyed after first KO
MOOK-A-RAMA! Build a 400pt team consisting of at least 3 mooks and a corresponding leader that all share a keyword. Mixed universes are ok only for the keyword "Atlantis", No vehicles, no colossals, and no resources.
The Midgard Serpent! Dark World chase Thor 400 Dark World chase Odin 350 Dark World Rare Loki 150 Dark World Rare Warriors Three 300 Dark World C Sif 100 1300 Vs. 1300!!
Has anyone attempted to incorporate the mini-maps that come with team bases into an event? I was thinking it would be neat to run a game with only those tiny maps, to see what close quarters teams people come up with. I don't know if team bases would even be allowed. Maybe even put 4 of those maps together into a bigger square and allow a player to rotate the maps on their turn (kinda like dungeon twister).
I'm looking for some ideas on this. A tiny map might let characters like big bertha and blob shine :-)

I ran a game at my venue that was 200 points no range, TK or HSS allowed. Played 20 min rounds on the mini maps. It was alot of fun. We will be running it again.
Exiles
400 or 500 points. Team must consist of 6 figures. When you crit hit, instead of dealing damage, you may choose a new map to play on, and you may replace a character on your force with one of same value or up to 25 points higher. When you crit miss, your opponent may do the same.
(when I ran, I had specific maps that also had secret missions and special effects, as there were 'scenario points' in addition to regular points)
Mix-up
Build two 200 point teams of opposing factions (X-Men/Brotherhood, Batman/Arkham Asylum, etc.). Before the game, roll-off which of your 200 point team and which of your opponent's 200 point team you'll be facing. The figures of opposing factions get a +1 to attack.
Enemy of my Enemy is my Friend- 200 points Heroic Age (any carded figure) you may only have up to 3 figures and at least 2 figures, all the figures must be actual enemies of each other. If you don't know you can ask or use comicvine.com to find out
