Speaking of Nina and Eden, there's another character on that list worth discussion and that's Eric Doyle. How would this guy even beat his opponents in a way that's considered a victory? His whole power is about taking control of people's muscles and controlling their body movement in a manner that's like him controlling puppets.
Do we declare if he controls them it counts as a victory even though his opponents minds will still be running and anyone who can use powers without moving their bodies are likely to whoop him shortly after he uses his powers on them? He has botched his control before particularly if he's trying to control more than one person too.
Do we give his opponents time limits to how long they can break out before Eric Doyle is consider the winner or does Eric have to make his opponents take themselves out even though that's pretty out of character for him and he's never done such a thing on the show before (though he could if he was smarter).
Also does anyone else besides me noticed that we took a character (the Tick) with a SHW ranking from the comics list and gave him a HW ranking for the TV list? No one besides me realizes this?
Not according to the threads with him. The comics, cartoons and live action TV were all made by the same person. Cartoon Tick I know for sure is on the same level as comic Tick since alot of his comics became TV episodes. Live action TV Tick apparently didn't have much fighting in them or it happened offscreen due to budget. Alot of his durable portrayal seems to be from the few fights he did have where apparently the Tick reacted to damage the same way his comic/cartoon counterpart would.
A couple other names I thought would be note worthy to throw out.
Hera (Hercules: The Legendary Journeys) - SHW
Athena (Xena: Warrior Princess) - HW or SHW (not sure where she ranks in comparison to Ares)
Angela Bettis Carrie (Carrie) - MW (this is from the 2002 TV movie, not to be confused by the Sissy Spacek version)
Charlene McGee (Firestarter 2: Rekindled) - MW? (Haven't seen this miniseries since it debuted on TV, so can't remember everything about her)
Alec Newman Paul Atreides w/ shield belt and gear (Frank Herbert's Dune/Children of Dune) - not to be confused with Kyle MacLachlan Paul Atreides.
Alia Atreides (Children of Dune) - I don't know where these two would rank. Where ever Eden and Nina are ended up being ranked, Paul and Alia should at least be on their level since Paul has their power (I assume Alia does too) and then some. I'm starting to watch the Dune miniseries if it hadn't became obvious. I know Kyle's Paul was a MW on the movie TOC, but this could be different.
I was also watching a TV movie by SyFy the other day called Thor: Hammer of the Gods. It was bad, but I checked it out both out of curiosity and because I thought he could be a good entry. The story was about Thor and his friends as mortal vikings, and Thor was played by Tim Allen's Home Improvement son Brad Taylor.
Anyways Brad was getting visions of the god of thunder that was leading him to the hammer. I knew he wasn't going to be the god of thunder until the end of the movie, but I was hoping it would like a Wendy Wu type thing where we see plenty of foreshadowing, he meets his destiny around 3/4 of the movie and then he gets to show off his capabilities in the final 3rd of the film. However that wasn't what happened. He didn't get the hammer until like literally the last 4 minutes. Then he kills some wolf god thing that was creating werewolves with energy charged hammer swings then later hit his hammer on the ground that sends out a energy wave that vaporizes 4 werewolves. He looked like he was easily on his way to the HW division, then he and his allies hop back onto their boat and the movie ends.
Apparently his visions were of things he would do after the movie's over. I would've so gotten on board with Brad Taylor God of Thunder as an entry. Then Brad can join Penny from Big Bang Theory and Reba's daughter Cheyenne from, well Reba in the TOC. Then the three of them can be the three comedy characters now with superpowers listed in the HW division of the TOC. However as it stands, we don't have enough knowledge or screentime with Brad Taylor God of Thunder to know what he and his powers can do. We seen plenty of Brad Taylor viking warrior, but that's not what we wanted. I should also put Alex from Degrassi to take Brad's place.
On that same Thor note, another Thor TV movie that debut on SyFy played on TV before Brad's Thor movie called Almighty Thor. I later got hesitant when I found out although it premiered on SyFy, it's an Asylum movie. So I looked up a video review of it and you got to admit, if you can look past the fact it's an Asylum movie, by the time Thor and Loki get their hammers, that's legit HW/SHW power right there especially by TV standards.
Also the SyFy channel plays alot of TV movies and miniseries, this list would actually be pretty good to get some top entries. Keep in mind plenty of them weren't made by SyFy and some of them are actually direct to DVD movies such as Man-Thing, which based off the plot summary and trailer looked like it could've been a solid HW entry.
On another note, considering how MIA from the TOC's I've been, I highly recommend making the lists longer since some of the characters comes from things only I've seen and I might not be around to do the characters justice. Which is a shame since I would've liked to get behind Penny, Cheyenne and Alex, but I don't think anyone here knows what they can do.
Personally, I dont think Hera actually was shown physically, or if so it was probably only once or twice. As such, while it could be assumed as the "Mother" of the Greek Gods, that she would be a SHW, since she has no actual screen time, it would be all but impossible to support her in an actual battle.
As for Thor-lite-lite-lite, personally Id rather not add him at all, as Id like these lists to be filled with strong, well known, duely warranted characters, not guys from LOW budget TV movies.
Never saw TV Dune, so cant comment on any of them.

Can't find any youtube clips of it, but she also took down Ares with one fireball. She was in a couple of episodes in the flesh then of course there's all the things she did while watching Hercules from the sky.

I wouldn't call Asylum Thor, Thor-lite-lite-lite especially when compared to the version from the Incredible Hulk TV series, more like Thor-cheap-very-cheap. He was pretty strong when he got his hammer from hell and made that large hammer blow that killed Loki. Plus people can amuse themselves with the fact Asylum Thor also uses machine guns . Or if not him, Asylum pale skin Loki can definitely work. Regeneration, plenty of magic, and when he got the hammer, made massive cracks throughout the city and can blow things up by saying "Ragnarok". The only real problem is if people can look past that it's an Asylum movie.
If only the filmmakers of Thor: Hammer of the Gods didn't wait so long for Brad Taylor to get the hammer, then we wouldn't be having this problem. As it stands, Asylum Thor is the best TV god of thunder available that we know so far. Incredible Hulk's Thor is about what you would expert from that TV show and Brad Taylor God of Thunder doesn't have enough screentime to know what he can do with his powers. And yes I am going to refer to that character as Brad Taylor God of Thunder.

Luckily hail eris and dr. fate would know those two very well.
Another entry forgot about is John Druitt (Sanctuary) - MW.
Looking back at the new lists, most of these guys I came up with and half of them I'm probably the only one who has seen them. That might be a problem especially since alot of the ones people aren't too familiar with are pretty heavy hitters in their divisions.
Also wanted to get this out of the way, but I noticed Murphy/Robocop is still listed a HW over at the TV TOC listings. If people think that overrated glorified C3PO known as Data is superior in everywhere to Robocop and Terminators, than Murphy is a MW at best since Data was one last TV TOC too.
Granted I heavily disagree with this. Going to be marathoning Star Trek:TNG once I received the DVDs, but from things I've seen and remember involves such things like Data getting damaged by a wooden arrow (go to about 9:15 of this video if you don't believe me) and he even states all the damage the arrow cause him, but as we all know:
a wooden arrow > multiple grenade rounds, getting hit by very large trucks, T-X's plasma cannon, large explosions, and dozens of SWAT and police officers unloading everything into you in damage output
As well as getting torn to pieces by farmers with meelee weapons and Beverly Crusher (go to about about 4:15 of this video to see Data getting owned by farmers), but as we all know:
Beverly Crusher or few farmers with meelee weapons > Data > T-800 > a base full of resistance fighters including main protagonist Kyle Reese all armed with energy weapons in combat
Then of course people also thinking Data is stronger than them too even though his strength feats I'm certain are pretty much tossing (not even breaking them) Borgs, opening jammed slide in doors and choking humans, but as we all know:
tossing Borgs, choking humans and opening jammed doors > killing T-600s and T-1 tanks in one hit, "walking" through concrete walls, breaking metal doors off their hinges and kicking over ambulances in strength
He's also apparently better in shooting skills despite having no targeting system and from what I recall, routinely missing people in phaser fights, but hey as we all know:
having no targeting systems and routinely missing untrained people in gun fights > having targeting systems and barely missing
Or you know, the durability, from what was portrayed in the series, he had zero resistance against energy attacks, got torn up pretty easily by meelee weapons and BUTTONS THAT TURNS HIM OFF which I believe has been exploited by other Enterprise crew members. However as we all know:
having buttons that turns you off, zero energy resistance and getting torn up pretty easily by meelee weapons > high energy resistance, no exploitable buttons and needing to unload massive amounts of damage to finally stop them in durability/damage resistance.
Gah, the movie MW TOC finals was basically a battle of the most fanwanked sci-fi characters. Though at least to Boba's defense, he's more 95% EU, and only like 5% actual movie. Star Wars fans should try and fanwank R2D2 as some sort of top class combat droid, I mean he did kill those two battle droids in AOTC, so that by itself is enough to fanwank R2 to Data's levels. Heck I should nickname both of them Data and R2D2: top class combat droids of DEATH!
Anyways in short if people still think Data > Robocop and Terminators, then Murphy is a MW at best for TV TOC.
I've also been thinking, we used Smallville for the higher tier rankings, but should we also use the show to flesh out the other rankings too like Black Canary and Hawkman? I want to put in Impulse too, but did he had any onscreen fights to go off of?
Plus Ultraman Andrew Clements would so want to be teamed up with a superhero, but he's not going to be familiar with modern day Blade, Ashley Scott Huntress or Ryan Carnes Phantom.
I also remember Blunder Boy suggested some sort of living war ship (I believe the name was Talyn) from Farscape for a SHW, but know nothing about it. Though since vehicles and mechs can play, don't see why not.
New series that just came out and already saw one episode and going to check out the rest soon. Thought Lena Headey's Sarah Connor could be a strong contender for the LW division, but courtesy of Canada and France, this person has now entered the TV division...

Talyn wouldn't be a great contender because he has difficulty breaching atmosphere. He's a big ### gun ship, but can't withstand gravity. Needs to stay in space. Certainly SHW in power, but couldn't fit the terrains that contenders do battle on.
Question for anyone who's ever seen Dollhouse, but any know which episodes are it where Echo and Alpha are showing off their fighting skills? Curious to see those two in action.
