I know the names of most of them, but that's because my wife is a brony. Doesn't automatically make me one.

Likely excuses, Bros.
The Girl likes Glee. I haven't seen more than the time it takes me to say, "Don't assault me with that dreck."
I don't know anyone's names.
The Girl likes Mad Men. I've watched a couple of episodes. I can't tell you the name of a single character.
The Girl lives and breathes photography. I couldn't set the shutter speed (I have just about no idea what that actually means and effects.) on a point-and-shoot.

I know it's just a ribbing in good fun, but there's a helluva difference between not wanting to know about or watch the shows your girlfriend watches and not taking any kind of interest or paying attention to what's important to one's daughter.

Gee, thanks.
You know, to keep attention away from himself, this is just the kind of thing that a Brony would say.

Anybody else played much with the Pacific Rim clix yet? I tested my Evas today and they came surprisingly close to killing Slattern at 600 points. And that was after 275 of my points got KOed before doing anything at all. Although my opponent was pushing aggressively, so maybe if he had cleared more I might not have had a chance.
Also won a 600 point golden age, no figures over 100 points tournament today with a Runaways team. Out judge was talking up the Runaways to some new players last week and I played against one of them second round. He was pretty intimidated, which was unusual for Runaways. Finally got ahold of a Renegade for first place.

No, Dude; I'm totally serious, here: you're a Brony.
I recognize the fact that you're a Brony because of your relationship with your daughter. But I have to hold to this definition of Brony because it indicts RP, and I'm not letting go of that.
But I may not be far behind you guys.
I told The Girl about this and she defended herself by saying that the only reason she knows anything about the show is the fact that most of the ponies have the names of the toys she had as a kid.
Then she started listing them off. I started screaming to cut her off, but she got a name in.
Yes, she's ruined me. I now know the name of one of them. I couldn't identify it to save my life AND, as she said, it's from the old toys and not the present show, but I still feel dirty and tainted; if only a miniscule amount.
Doesn't being a Brony mean that you are an adult male fan of the show? Simply having a working knowledge of the show and its characters does not make one a Brony.
If not for Isabelle, I wouldn't know anything about it. I'm not a fan.
