That's fair, but whenever it happens and I ask what I did wrong so I can get better and not do it again, everyone ignores me. So it will either keep happening or I try something different.
Just as long as you are aware it gets tiresome after a while. It's fine to play that card every now and then though.
OMAC Moment - When a player slips up without even knowing it, truthfully roleclaiming him/herself as anti-Town. Can occur often in "Reverse Mafias." Originates from the Villains United game when a player honestly claimed as an OMAC, unaware that OMACs were earlier established to be evil.
I can say with pretty high certainty that Capt is telling the truth, at least about his powers.
This is one of the most interesting posts of the phase.

Other players follow this terrible train of logic.
Someone points out that a previous Warlock is actually part of the Brood and may be on Inferno's team.
Cap actually claims said brood character.
Hilarious.
I can't speak for anyone else, but I was not following logic at all. It was better than my random pressure because it was something. A possible hint or something. Turns out it was the post restricted tied to a former Brood cult recruit.
JoH is pinging me hard this game, which means he is definately town. I'm a horrible mafia detector.

I'm willing to leave him alone for now, especially since someone else jumped out of the woodworks to defend his power claim.
In Villains United mafia, the town was the Society. Someone (St Dumas?) claimed OMAC under pressure. He kept protesting that he really was OMAC. The town's response was "We belurge you are OMAC but OMAC would be scum so we're lynching you. He really was OMAC and really was scum.
Basically, if someone claims a role that should be and is scum, this is refered to as OMACing.
Been following along, but had nothing to say until now. I'm thinking this part of the write-up would make sense for Warlock, and seem to back up his claim that the brood is gone (assuming I'm understanding correctly, I only really know the last game)

A thin figure with skin like milk walked through the mind of his target. The path below him was steel, and made of a technology he did not know. Around him there was smoke, and somewhere something was burning. Demons whispered to him along the way, but he did not respond. There was emptiness everywhere, like something was lacking or too much had been lost. He dared not step off the steel path.

Okay, I can half-see that. But it looks more like another person is helping him instead.
Good read on a weird section of the write-up. Not sure if its correct, but interesting at least.

It is the opposite of hiding in plain sight: where you claim a scum character and the town believes you without realizing you are town.
I thought he was hinting a Bizarro character FWIW. And I have already stated that.
I know. I just think it's funny that you made a mistake, still managed to get a train going and still managed to catch a brood member. (Who may or may not be mafia.)
