I'm still learning, but from years of playing D&D, people who claim to be something in a game where no one knows the truth, are usually lying.

Everyone is going to claim they aren't mafia... that's the point of the game. Some people have info gathering powers, etc, and as they game goes on it becomes more difficult to hide the lies.

Sorry, I have clix on Thursdays and then I needed to open my game. It can do both if I use it poorly. It should help though. Not the Vig.

At some point everyone will be asked to share something in this game. I shared because I was pressured by people who were asking. In this game, we are more interested in inconsistencies. By your logic, everyone who makes any claim will likely be mafia.

Instead, focus on who is trying to get other people killed and who is inconsistent. That is my advice, but the best advice is trust your gut and try a lot of approached.

Also, I think this is great. I would rather see folks new to the game be assertive rather than just follow others.

Good to know for the future as we get closer to the mafia it should be easier to find them.

You know what? I think GFish is the way to go.

There are 70ish potential claims plus two janitored characters. The chance of scum accidentally fake claiming another player's role is low.

"I am not mafia. I am X" is simply not a valid defense, yet GFish keeps using it and the more he does, the worse it looks.

I think Girathon is the way to go.
