It doesn't seem that off theme, Groot is one of them and as far as I know has never even met Thor outside the Thor-Corp and sets have been known to drop a few unrelated pieces. He's also not normally that big other than his first appearance.

Also: Looks like WK is back to their old "flood the market with a glut of product" tricks again. I thought with the pretty-much slowing down of new product releases we've seen over the past year or two, they had learned that mostly people/fans just can't keep up with the spending. For me, it looks like 2018 will be a year of catch-up singles buying, with this year being maybe one brick plus some catch-up singles buying. It's just way too much for me. Sculpt looks tiny for Odinson (Thor), but otherwise okay.

Chances are good that Enchantress, Roz Solomon (Shield), Beta-Ray Bill
and possibly Mangog (Colossal) will all be in this set. Sir Ivory Honeyshot
would be hilarious.
