It seems that so many Mage Knight games hinge on that one crucial dice roll. I have to overextend and push to roll a ridiculous number to harm your Hierophant? I I do, I am the hero and the win is mine, if not, that bad boy clubs me. If you can make the crucial roll early in a game (as waxing the gunner sure was) it is all the better.

There is nothing sweeter than rolling a huge Magic Blast or Weapons Mastery when you need it. It will tend to speed the games along. One must be aware that the reverse can happen. I played an Arcane Draconum army in a tournament and never rolled higher than a 2 on my MB.

The army is strong...good luck playing with it, refining and tuning it!

WK may have created a whale of a game here.
So far they have done everything right :
quality figures (probably 80% of the figures is playable - as opposed to Magic's 20%)
balanced rules and abilities,
great depth in gameplay,
decent prices ,
not a new ( #### filled) expansion every 4 months (you know who I mean)
So far they have not shown any money grabbing signs.

I'm sure if they keep concentrating on the quality and balance of the game they are going to make a ton of money because the fan base can only grow in that case.
A blind man can see that.

So my plea to Wizkids is this :
please stay focused as you are now and everything else will fall in place by itself , don't let money decide what you do.

Just a quick followup on that. The store I WL at is very similar. They know you know how to get them cheaper so they really don't care if you buy from them. They are more interested in making that money by selling the packs individually, making more off the case. I see this from their side though as well, they are in business to make money and I won't deny them this, I just won't buy specific things from them. I will still pay retail for boosters to draft with as it keeps them in business but doesn't WACK me in the wallet.

I think many have felt this pinch before. I accept it now and don't ask for discounts. I just buy elsewhere.

IF, and this is a big If.. WW has a fig with Dodge AND Stealth.... look out, just put about 10 of those in with hindering everywhere and uh oh........
