I'm willing to wait until September 1st at which point it will be over a month since I shipped my cards.

This is why I asked cyber to send first when he offered me three dark bribes. It gets me when they offer cards that are on their want list.. Since the site went down I usually only trade with people I trust (usually looking at post count and how much I see them contribute to the forum) or I ask them to send first.

Well regardless of Realms Trade Rules, you have the right to turn down a trade, if you don't feel comfortable with it. For example, I posted an offer on your thread, you can request that I send 1st. I can either say sure or no way.

Sending simutaneously isn't a sure thing either because unless they offer you a delivery confirmation #, how can they/you prove that the card(s) were sent?

It takes longer but a Mod trade, or having a neutral member that both people respect is a sure fire way to get your cards. IMO

Be aware of members who haven't been on in a long time as well. Comning back after quitting for months or a year, only to came back and make several Trades at once. Beware of trades that highly favor you..especially if you have to send first.
Just because a member comes of a year of not playing and states that he/she has 1000 ref's, doesn't mean that its true, and even if it is I would require a Mod.

True statements. I think it would be nice to implement a rule saying you have to send with confirmation, but only while the site is down.

I've had two trades recently and even though I respected the members I traded with my stomach still got a little queezy.

Well yourface, just try to use this as a golden rule of Online Trading.

1) Don't ever trade anything that you wouldn't mind losing..regardless of the trade.
If the card is over $15-20 try trading with your friends first. If you can't get it that way, buying it online is an option, at least if you use eBay and pay with Paypal, you get your $$ back if anything goes wrong.

With that being said, gook luck in your future trades.

O and another thing, if a trade offer comes your way, think about it. Would you do it if the roles were reversed? If not then its probably too good to be true.

i was gona trade with him but i noticed all this accusations going around about him being a ripper so i sent him a pm saying that i wanted to mod trade but i haven't heard from him since and that was like a week ago. its strange his end of our trade was his x2 dark bribes and yourface was offered 3 and i noticed on his trade thread he was offering someone else some bribes im just wondering if he really is a ripper cause i doubt he has 7 dark bribes its just strange im saying and the card is on his wants list to hummm? idk?

Skocktape i was going to add you and a few others to that list when i had the time like i do now for the reason I have pm'ed cyberserpent to see if he will anwser me on some stuff as well and if he sent out everything to you all and if i do not hear from him i willtry and get all your cards from him personally even me i have spoken with him on msn like monday of this week and he said he would get back to me on this if not then i will go to post office and get this check into and all. I'm sorry this happened but you think i have dual accounts why would you think that of me specially -makess me sad-

well ill give the guy the benefit of the doubt but the only way im gona trade is with a mod trade or he sends first from now on. luckily i didn't send my stuff out yet
