I know I copped you as town, but I really don't like either of your Mafia suggestions...

The aforementioned "next post," aka "The Math Post," wherein Grinner teaches a math lesson and the Mafia decides to kill him even harder than they had already planned to:

Basic math shows us that kontrol can't be Mother. It also shows us that it's unlikely that Ben is here. There can't be any unclaimed town roles left that aren't numbers (and I'm pretty sure I've figured out those, too).

We start with 13 roles. For the moment we'll only count the corporeal Academy members - that removes 6 roles, leaving us with 7. Pogo, Ahbijat and Hazel & Cha-cha (all confirmed by death) take the next three, leaving us with 4. Lupo (write-up and results) leaves us with 3.

This is things start getting bad for any other claims. If you add any other claims, you are saying that there are less that three Mafia. There isn't room for Mother and Ben and Agnes. Especially since we've seen two different Mafia killers.

I'll admit I'm puzzled why the Mafia would bust the SK's claim, but the only way Gira is what he claims is if there's a 2-person Mafia in a 13 person game.

That's also why there's over an hour from "see my next post" and said next post - cooking JM's birthday dinner.

Yeah, if I was mafia I wouldn't have done it because it wouldn't make sense. And there are possibilities beyond what you have mentioned. Perhaps one of the main numbers isn't present.

Except we can account for all of them.

So we can agree the kontrol is likely scum, I'm curious as to why neither grinner or Gira have voted for him.

Grinner hasn't voted for him because we still have some discussion left to have. I'm dead tonight - I've already accepted that. There's no one left to save me, I've busted them (and with a little more discussion we'll list the best candidates for you guys to deal with after I'm gone). I figure it's more polite to discuss and let claims come out rather than for me to just list all the likely roles. We have until tomorrow morning, though (36 hour phase), so we have time to discuss.

Gira hasn't voted because he's one of the three Mafia members. If all three of them don't vote, we need all five of us townies to lynch kontrol.

I'm pretty sure you might survive the night if 5 claims since they're the vig.

So, we know kontrol is scum. Gira probably isn't Agnes. Which leaves us Adam as our last baddie.

In the aftermath, it was unclear whether he or the professional looking woman fired the killing shot.
