I'm loving the character selection in most of it, kind of expected a US Agent, my biggest complaint in this is still the reusing NFAOS sculpts, & I don't want most of them. Thankfully, I'll just trade them if I pull them (except Nick & maybe Peggy). So i may not order a full brick, but I'll try to get a few things.

Assembled Bolts And Masters: Once per turn when Atlas hits, after resolutions you may roll a d6. 5-6: If your force has 3+ friendly characters with the Masters Of Evil or Thunderbolts keywords, remove an action token from Atlas -or- give an action token to a hit target. If your force has 6+, do both. Double Dose of Pym Particles: FREE: Until your next turn, Atlas has and modifies his attack and damage values +1. Giant Retaliation: Stay Away From My Friends!: FREE: If no friendly character has been placed this turn, choose an opposing character within 6 squares that attacked Atlas or damaged a friendly character since your last turn. Place Atlas such that he can make a close attack targeting the chosen character, then do so.
75 and two more clicks of life or at least Indom would have made him more satisfying.
He is better than his 90 point CWOP set version, but for such a dynamic sculpt, I wanted a figure who could last longer than turn 3.
Invulnerability? Eech. Imperv or Invincible was needed. 9 attack? Oh, right, a throw back to those garbage designs of "you can get back to mediocre as long as you ____"
I can see why they needed to rein in HIS Colossal Retaliation to 6 range...
He is worth his points - but no one really likes the tough guy who's job it is to show how strong the enemy is.
Get blasted to click 4 (his worst click) and then push him to his movement SP. Then colossal retaliate and share his Empower. Then your opponent scores 50 points.
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.

So you wanted a 50 point figure to have a printed 10av or more it's whole dial? And then the ability to bump that +1 for FREE, with the only drawback being being... none?
Please tell me you aren't one of the people complaining about "power leap".
"I meant to say trash panda."

If your force has 6+, do both. Simuloid Replicas: When Blackheath starts the game, generate 2 Simuloids. Vengeance of The Verdant Green: Blades/Claws/Fangs, Quake, Giant Reach: 1. Increase his Giant Reach by +1 for each square of printed hindering terrain he occupies or is adjacent to.

That Atlas is stupid for 50 points. Not high meta, but 12 attack, 5-7 damage, 8 range swing for 50 points?
I love atlas and I want him to be good, but good lord. Save something for the high point characters.
Even though there is a fair amount of 12s and a lot of 11 attacks in this set, the defense didn't really spike. I dont think i saw anyone with passive 19def, maybe a slight increase in the number of 18s. I wonder if they are just trying to encourage more hits.
The game is sold as collectible but the figure designs keep saying throw your old figures away.
Part of me wants a CUR, part of me wants to say, nah why bother.
I'm teetering on this as well. I like the set list and I roll with the times and do use better remakes. But gosh....this set. I'm not even happy the meta jerks it's going to bring into my play group
