What would you categorize a pop-tart as, in all seriousness?

Pop tarts do say pastery, but I see pastry being more light and flakey, and the fruit filling being more, I don't know, fruit tasting? I do enjoy pop tarts, but not as a pastery. More of a cereal in your hand kind of thing.

For straight-out-of-the-toaster goodness, I agree. However, Pop-Tarts do have their place. I like the Chocolate Chip ones right out of the box (after removing the wrapper, of course) but one of my favorite things to do is to take a fruit-filled Pop-Tart (except strawberry [insert vomiting smiley]), cut it in half the short way and add ice cream to make an ice cream sandwich.
I have also, at times, cut them the long way and used them as garnishes in homemade ice cream sundaes.

This is my toaster pastry of choice.

I enjoy the sugary, dessert-type pop-tarts. S'mores, Chocolate Chip Cookie, Hot Fudge Sundae, etc.

Sometimes just using what's on-hand can lead to some pretty tasty items.

Chalk me and my daughter up in that category.

I love those pop-tarts more than anything else in the pastry world. Have you ever tried chilling them? Nothing says classy like a glass of Dom Perignion with a crazy straw and s'more pop-tarts.

Come on, any of us that know you, know you can't afford Pop-Tarts!
