Actually my store (Alternate Reality Comics, still alive - grin!) specializes in new comics and graphic novels so I don't have much in the way of those Bat issues you're looking for. Cosmic Comics (3330 East Tropicana) is the best store in Vegas for back issues (especially bronze and silver age) - I think it'd be a good bet he'd have a lot of the issues you're looking for.
I don't want to play a game of chess where dumb luck or money decides whether or not I get to use a rook... Collectibility is a necessary evil of Heroclix, not a boon.
Either way always good to have more Vegans....um Veganites...umm people from Vegas posting
I've wondered when Vegetarians became Vegans. Funny that Vegans are viewed as health conscious people in one context and wholly unhealthy in another, although I would argue which is healthier.

I am going to give Action Comics a go for my comics once Kool's closes, if they don't work out it will be Cosmic then, I have some gaps from my Silver Age JLoA collection I might check them out......
After that where to go for my plastic crack addiction, more likely it will be LSoM.
if you read this then you lost 10 seconds you'll never get back.
Yes, it was because this thread was pointed out to me by a friend regarding the supposed closing of my store, that I find myself here (and truthfully since I don't game or represent gaming at my store I probably wouldn't have ever otherwise stumbled onto this site - not that there's anything wrong with gaming of course, just that it's not my cuppa).
And yes, I am a Las Vegan vegan. I've been a vegan for 17 years now, since the 20th anniversary of Earth Day.
I'll take the credit for leading Ralph to these posting grounds.
When Waaagh1 (not Waaagh2) said that AR was closed, I was very surprised. So I asked my friend (the former employee) if he had heard that, since driving by they looked open to me. I guess I could have gotten off my lazy butt and called, but I went the grapevine route instead.
So, I tell my friend what I heard. He asked where I heard it. I show him this here lovely thread, and the rest...is history.
In the meantime, I'll vouch for the times I've been in AR that they have a great supply of new comics and a pretty cool owner. Between Cosmic and Alternate reality, I've never needed to go anywhere else.
so its all your fault.... I liked this thread better when its was our secret corener of the realms, now apperently big brother is watching us and we got all these newbs and interlopers up in here
seriously though is there a Waaagh2? and I think hes the only Vegas resident gamer that I have not seen in person... maybe one day before it closes I will have to treck down to kools...

Waaagh2 is the guy who invented the Wilhelm scream. He's an older guy, but pretty cool (if a tad jumpy).

Seriously, though, WHY is there a Waaagh2? I thought Waaagh1 was a strange enough handle (sorry Brian), but another one is too much for this old man.
I used to stop by AR Comics every Thursday way back in the day when Dreamland was on Maryland Pkwy. I used to buy JSA TPB's every other week. Cool that they (Ralph and Wife) are posting here too!
Anyway, for those that haven't read it...
Previews of an Event dial are up on this site. Basiclly just a trumped up BFC. Has potential...
Regarding what Jeff said last night re: the off week post Starro...
I'd be willing to bring my HrC figures. I have a few dupe uniques I'd be willing to give away as prizes, assuming we had some interest in a one-night-only HrC tourney.

Any interest??
Depends on the figs. Not a fan of HrC, just like some of the sculpts!
