Ooooo, thanks, hadn't seen that thread yet. Really happy for a Madame Hydra and another Red Guardian! I so hope the Cap's shield 3D object benefits Nova/Supernova, because I'll be using the heck out of that as I geek out.

I posted this in the other thread but I'll mention it to you guys too. Whatever you do, don't buy from the one seller "CedarCliffCollectibles." He is notorious for ripping people off in the Twin Cities then bragging about ripping them off. On a similar note, seeing that list of LE's is quite underwhelming. On the good side, my players won't be trying to kill each other to get them.

That's curious. I've been into that shop a number of times. Not saying that I can vouch for him/them, but it's interesting to hear the name of a place I'm familiar with.

On a side note, it is a pretty cool store.

I'm on the side of not really feeling huge excitment for the new Cap set. I don't know why, since I've bought cases of all sets since before Icons. In fact I preordered a case of Supes day before yesterday online, and have preordered another case through my LCS. But spending that money on Clix may be starting to prime the pump for Cap, because I can feel the urge to at least get a brick, a little taste, coming on. As a Plastic Crack addict, I think I see where it may be heading. That DB Cap and the Invisible Woman do look pretty cool. NO...YES..MAYBE....

I think Hydra Bob was a lock since they first said that a generic Hydra soldier was in the set. Other than that, I find the LE selection to be pretty bland. I really enjoy the idea of the zombie Dirk Anger, but maybe because he was teased so long ago, I can't get excited about him. The other three, while I'll be happy to have them, aren't super exciting to me.

I think an Elvis style MODOK would have been awesome, but I doubt they'd ever devote two LEs to one book. No matter the cult following it might have. Except of course for GSX which had FOUR X-Force characters. But I guess X-Force is a tad more popular than Nextwave.

For what it's worth, I bought something from this seller not too long ago -- my first and only purchase from him -- and it proved to be an excellent buying experience. Very prompt shipping, excellent item (SR clix), well packaged, sent via USPS Priority Mail with a DC # and fine communication.

It's got a niche comic shop feel, but I've watched the guy act "genuine" to a customer, then as soon as the customer left, he started laughing and bragging about how he completely screwed the customer out of the deal/trade/whatever it was. Just not the type of person I suggest doing business with.

If you buy something from him on Ebay and you're happy with his price, then I'm sure there is no problem. Where I saw problems is when people would come in to do a trade or some sort of deal with him. That's when he'd bring out the KY.
