I don't have the WL AM, and I never look at figures I don't have, even when building for others. But since you brought it up, and I know how good TK can be for a team with range/mobility issues, how about this option?

Bullseye-117
Indigo-1-84
Iron Fist-70
Elektra (Human)-80
LE Diana Prince-43
Batroc-52
Robin (BaTB)-43
Total-489
Again, not much flight, but my flier does have Support, which will be very handy. I've got lots of high defenses and attacks, along with good damage or EW. Even Diana will be lending some Perplex. Iron Fist will be Batman Ally the whole game, thanks to Damien. Essentially, this game will be a slug fest, with my running in and kung-fuing the living crap out of whoever I see. Bullseye will be close behind, sniping any stragglers or picking off any other rangers. I don't know if ATAs are tourney legal, but if they are, I'll probably be Thunderbolting Bullseye.
Oh Warlord, there you are again. Crimson Dynamo will be running the show this time, with Bucky in tow Perplexing up his defense. I'll also have the Gravity Feed Bucky Cap, as he's a really good piece as well. Darkstar, once again, will be TKing and throwing up Smoke Clouds. Drill Sgt. will be the taxi to potentially boost damage, etc. Pretty standard.
Scientist-500
MODOK-160
GF Klaw-60
GSX Beast-95
Mr. Fantastic-100
The Spot-51
Cave Carson-24
Total-490
If you guessed that MODOK will be getting constantly Perplex by Reed, while Klaw snipes from the sidelines and Beast, carried by Spot, will be acting as tie-up and close combat, you guessed right.
Armor-500
Annihilus-127
Kurse-121
Thorbuster-140
Batman Beyond-64
Enhancement Doombot-40
Total-492
This team promises to be fun. Kurse and Batman Beyond will be partnered together as they smash the opposition with objects, while the Doombot, Annihilus and Thorbuster tag people from range with +1 damage thanks to Enhancement. Thorbuster can also Pulse Wave big guys for lots of damage as well.
Namor and Herc run up, clean house close combat. Peanut Cap and Bucky stick back and provide ranged support. Bucky Perplexes, Jarvis Outwits. Pretty simple.
Same as the last team, only I take out the 2 19 point Amazons and Sinestro, and put Lashina in for some HSS, some Leadership, and potentially Blades/EW. I prefer the other team, but this seems like it might work.
Spy-500
Nick Fury (SI)-100
R'Amey Holl-50
Nightshade-50
Talia (BaTB)-86
Checkmate Knight White-29
Steve Rogers-99
Mystique-86
Total-500
Not much mobility here. Really gotta keep Nick protected. He'll probably be taxied by R'Amey. Nightshade will be carrying around Talia. Mystique and Rogers will be footing it around. Mystique will be best up close, so I may use Nightshade or R'Amey to move her in once I'm in a good position. The Knight will be positioned between Steve and Talia giving them Enhancement, or when I need it, Outwit.

Thanks!
As it is, I do have a Weapon X, having pulled him on Release Day, but I haven't played him as I've promised to swap him to a friend (who loves the character much more than I do) for something of equal value in the Superman set.
Kinda gives me the good feeling of having banked something I'll want before I even know what it is!
Tim Burton was right: "A square jaw does not a Batman make." Steve Buscemi as the next Batman! Luke Perry as Joker! Let's make it happen!
I vote Animal Keyword, but then, is anyone surprised by that? But hey, try this.

These days, I believe you to be foolish to build an Animal keyword team without Animal Man. The man is crazy versatile, especially with this many awesome figures around him. Just don't forget to push Howard ASAP so that Animal Man has access to that scary Charge/Flurry/Blades Combo.
Oooo I forgot Howard has Flurry on his Perplex click! That's a neat idea! I only hesitate to use Animal Man because after his first 2 clicks, which let's face it, aren't hard to hit him past, his usefulness goes down quite a bit. The other guys I have end up being more useful in the long run.
For his points, Morlun is such an awesome brick for Animal teams. Fantastic piece.
Wolfsbane I'm also hesitant about because I already have a lot of mobility issues, and her being stuck in Stealth will make her really slow. And I really need to keep her on that top click because that's her best one.
Not sure if I have a Rocket Raccoon, but since the tournament is on a Saturday and Sunday, I have Thursday and Friday to shop at the dealer I know for these CUR pieces I don't have (like Spidey). I'll also probably get that She-Thing and E Wizard I need for my Frightful Four team. Hopefully the dealer will have a Medusa in his higher end figure display.
@Wade I don't have Gamora anymore. I traded her since I figured I'd never use her. I know, probably not the best idea in hindsight.
@Suga I just bought a Scarlet Spider from someone on this sight, but I dunno if it'll actually arrive in time for the convention. Also don't have Barry Allen. Otherwise, I'd strongly consider your suggestion.
Personally, I think the most well rounded team is the Mystical one. Healing, lots of PC, lots of TK, great up close, great at range, Mystics damage, tons of support powers in general and its got good mobility.

I see one TKer, being Solovar. Did you meant to include WL Animal Man? He's 83 points, and wouldn't fit, as you calculated with the Rare Animal Man, I think.

Rare Animal Man can borrow Solovar's TK, since it is an attack power. Fling Morlun out 8 squares, let him hit someone, and then pull him right back. Not necessarily going to work every time, but options are nice.
