Y'know, mafia is an awesome distraction from Funeral Arrangements. My cousin had a #### ton of friends. One of them actually started a facebook memorial page, and it has about 250 members. His best friend offered to pay for a viewing for him, but my Aunt doesn't want that. She wants to cremate him and have a memorial, like she did with her husband three years ago.
Now, she feels guilty for saying no to him, but she really doesn't think she could deal with having a viewing for him. Both my Mom and I have told her not to worry about what other people think/want. This is her burden to bear and she do whatever feels right to her.
Ugh, this has been too unreal.
What, am I normal or not?
Am I crazier than other patients?
Right, I've done everything right.
So where's the karma, doc? I've lost my patience.

Sorry to hear that your family is going through all of this pain. It's all part of the process, but what a sad hassle for everyone involved.
Personally, I'd rather not view the departed and instead remember him/her in life. Christie already knows that if I should kick the bucket, I'd rather be cremated and have a memorial service. And the WW Philly after it happens, I'd appreciate it if a Realmser does a karaoke version of "Crazy Train" at the Irish Bar. That would be good enough for me.
