Are you seriously going to back up your argument with the Predator movies and then apply "real world" (movie) to comic books? You call that logic? That alone makes any future and past posts by you in any of these polls null and void. Arnold got his ### handed to him by the Predator and whoever wrote the second movie that had Danny Glover beat a Predator should never be allowed to write a grocery list let alone a movie. I will use your "logic." Danny Glover and Arnold Schwarzenegger both pick up a Captain America comic and rip them up, thus defeating Cap because they are real people and Cap is a fictional character.

That being the case, Batman is a joke, Azrael is a bigger joke, and Bane was the biggest joke ever played on Batman. The fact that Batman can defeat a lot of the major superheroes of the DC universe only goes to show what a bunch of losers the DC heroes are.

So please point out to me just when does Batman kick Dredd's butt? I only read (and own) the first time they met. So please enlighten me.

I also want to point out that when Batman went up against Grendel Prime, Batman could not stop him and Grendel Prime carried out his mission.

Cap has really gone toe to toe with a lot of major hitters; Hulk, Super Adaptoid with a cosmic cube, The Wrecker with full Power, Asgardians, various Elders of the Universe, rogue Eternals, the entire Nazi army, etc... I don't see Batman as much as a threat as everyone claims. He's cunning and good at martial arts I just think Cap has that fighting heart and never give up attitude that's going make the difference in this fight. Plus, Cap once jumped out of a plane with only his shield and landed ok. That's just awesome.

Real reason: The Joker is one of the most popular villains in comics. Same reason Reed Richards doesn't bump Doctor Doom off.

The super soldier has too many benefits to outweigh Bruce being just human, going with Cap.

That's roughly like saying a tiger or a bear has too many benefits to outweigh Bruce being just human. Put an exceptionally competent guy against a bear or tiger, and I'll bet on the competent guy winning, assuming he's well equipped. Which, you know - Batman typically is.

Cap's a physically potent guy, and smart, but strong, fast, and armed with a shield doesn't exactly hold up to smart and well equipped. Batman would be stupid to engage in hand-to-hand with Cap. Batman is not stupid, ergo...

Since you are so eager to be enlightened I will point out that there are several Batman/Judge Dredd books: Batman/Judge Dredd - Die Laughing , Batman/Judge Dredd: Judgement on Gotham, Batman/Judge Dredd: Vendetta In Gotham (which is the one I was referring to) and Batman/Judge Dredd: The Ultimate Riddle. I would think that someone of your infinite comic knowledge would know that. I only read the one book because it was just so piss poor in writing and art that I had no desire to read the others. As I previously stated, Batman and Judge Dredd throw down almost the entire issue unlike the one you describe.

I have finally voted for captain....! for some of these very reasons, the bigger the problem the more cap finds a new strategy, Cap isnt just good with martial arts he good with damn near anything that has to do with war or fighting. With Cap once he realized the situation he wont ever stay down unless you kill him, Cap also isnt above playing possum he will also use warfare tactics such as gorilla style combat. Even though he isnt famous for stealthy ninja style of fighting doesnt mean he cant.

Batman uses intimidations and fear to throw off the opponants since he is after all a dude with no powers taking on some bad moe foes, steve is pretty darn hard to intimidate.

this is a good fight and i do understand why people would think batman would win, but i personly feel that Cap wins this time.

Nightwing beat batman in the series that lex framed bruce for murder, i believe it was titled wayne the fugitive or something close to it...also dredd did whoop bats ###

I read Fugitive, but I don't really remember Nightwing beating Batman. I am going to have to read it again.

Upon further reading I see you have said Cap is nothing without his shield, many a times he has been without shield and still won the day, reclaimed shield and rode off into the sunset (added the last bit) lol The inaccuracy you've spouted does not detract from the hilarity of our argument because only Batman would carry a spray for use against someone from an alternate reality that he's only seen a handful of times. No hate on the bats though, at least he makes his own toys, early Steve Relied on Tony's Gadets in a pinch.

Loves me my Steve but I think the Super Soldier Serum counts as a performance enhancing drug.
