oh dear. no, this is looks a #### dial. a 200+ point character with no range, only a base 3 damage, no move and attack? really? I can't see anyone playing him in a 300 pt sealed event with those stats/powers.. poising and good av/dv but those special powers are a bit.. weak. highly suseptable to outwit, which, lets face it, is rampant in dc clix.. I does not like. I may change my mind when/if wk clarify his contstructs.
But would he be able to use poison on multiple targets. When are adjacent and use poison doesn't effect all characters you are adjacent to?
If that is the care Larfleeze could use armor piercing and poison several characters in the game all over the map at the same time...WOW.
Then do a close combat attack to 3 to one of those targets.
He can target several characters as long as they are all adjacent to an Orange Construct. He can only Poison each character once, but he can attack one of those characters after that.
Personally I'd love it if he could use the Orange Lantern too. That'd really make him sick.
It's like Michael Jordan going to the YMCA to play basketball.

Larfleeze should never be in LOS to be Outwit. He should go, sit in the corner, and pump out Orange Constructs.
In Sealed for DC 75th, he will likely never get played. With no Armor Piercing, there's a lot of damage reducers that he will have to chip through and Poison will be useless. In Constructed, I think he'll be fun to play. He won't show up at Gencon, but with the right build he could be very annoying.

I do not understand where everybody is getting the idea that Larfleeze can be damage thru the construct.
If you compare the wording next to the Giant Size ability.
GIANT SIZE (Blacknest Night PAC): ...When this character is given an action that includes a close combat attack, it treats other characters up to two squares away as if they were adjacent...
Trait: Orange Construct: Characters adjacent to or in the same square as an Orange Construct object are considered adjacent to Larfleeze for Poison and close combat purposes.
2010 Rulebook (pg.3):MAKING A CLOSE COMBAT ATTACK When one of your characters is in a square adjacent to an opposing character, you can give
your character an action to make a close combat attack.
My point is:
1. It does not mention anything about opponent being able to damage to larfleeze directly, If were going verbatim.
2. Larfleeze SP only mention the the construct are considered adjacent to larfleeze not the opposing figure.
3. IF you are attacking, then the orange construct would be have to be your target, not larfleeze.
4. People says it work both ways, but i don't see it according to the article on Larfleeze. I would think that the GD would have mention it in the article.
5. And just does not make since with this type character, why would larfleeze make something as simple as an object for it to back fire on him.
Well that my 2 cents. There just been a lot of controversy about this character lately. I hope we get an official ruling on this before the set is release.

Bolded the important parts to illustrate the difference in Giant Size and Orange Construct.

If GD and/or the article publisher actually understood the importance of playtesting, proofreading or consulting people who are able to concisely convey intent into rules text, we wouldn't have massive erratas, now would we?

I'd like to coin the phrase shake (my) Larfleeze here.
Definition: Moving Larfleeze the maximum movement but having him wind up in the square he was in before moving, thereby being able to move his constructs the maximum distance without actually moving Larfleeze.
As in:
I'm going to use phasing to shake my Larfleeze, moving him 11 squares back and forth, then move his constructs up to 11.
Gee is going to use TK to shake Larfleeze moving him back and forth 8 squares, then move his constructs up to 8.
His card says "Characters adjacent to or in the same square as an Orange Construct object are considered adjacent to Larfleeze for Poison and close combat purposes."
It does not, however, say that Larfleeze is considered adjacent to the opposing characters.
Wording does not make a hard line in heroclix. Intent does.
I've brought this up before but the wording in colossal size says that only other colossal characters block line of fire to and from a colossal. This leaves open the though that colossals can be shot at and shoot through walls and stealth. This isn't the case, the intent was that colossal can shoot over giants. That was the intent and that is how it is ruled and played regardless of its writing.
I see it as the same thing with Agent Orange here. Reading all his powers and his two articles on hcrealms and it is clear that he is meant to be able to attack through his orange constructs and to not be attacked through them. Regardless of what the words say that is how it is.
Worthy of Mjolnir:
Kingpin Captain Mar-Vell Arcade Rocket Raccoon Kang
It does not, however, say that Larfleeze is considered adjacent to the opposing characters.
Unfortunately, adjacency is reciprocal by definiton and since it's part of his trait, it's also non-optional.

If you'd actually bother to remember, the conclusion from that debacle was that an official WK rules person have to clarify before such an ambigious statement as Larfleeze's power is given any absolute interpretation.
My point is not what is right, it's why the heck don't they take half an hour to proofread or clarify with someone who is able to put things into proper, non-ambigious legalese before releasing these characters.
Larfleeze should be awesome, or at least moderately playable. The current wording without errata/clarifaction makes him less so and it was preventable.

the problem with him sitting in a corner pumping out constructs is a) the constructs only move after larfleeze moves, although according to heroclix.com, they can be tk'd but since larfleeze doesn't have tk, pointless. and b) can't use his powers to ignore pulse wave, since it ignores all powers and abilities, I can see him being used in golden age 500+ point games but for what is a non-rare/sr unique fig, that's gonna put a lot of people off.
