I'm soooooooo glad this guy was generous enough to teach the new guys by not beating them up *too hard*.
The funny thing is, I agree with enough of the principle of it (people don't learn by you letting them win) but the tone is so.... ugh. And he could have thrown together a completely sloppy team and showed them how to *play* well as opposed to build well.

Putting his two lines together it fits and at least gives some reason for why he doesn't seem to be learning.

Yeah, I got the impression that he was trying to show us how magnanimous he was being by showing us his teams.
My reaction follows:
Cheese
Cheese
Assorted fermented curd
Super Cheese
Captain Cheese-O Pants
Would it have killed him to play Captain America and Howling Commandos?
Or how about SHIELD? And by SHIELD, I mean Nick and a bunch of Agents/Specialists; whatever: not Quasar.
It killed me that he pointed out that the only Slobability Control that he was getting was from Theme Team. That must have hurt him so much!
I posted a more polite version of my statement in the thread re: how he could have taught them better with a worse team, but I don't think he'll get it.
