Hm. He's kind of god-awful. Well, the FF Hulk could still end up being the 300 point world-beater that everyone was hoping for... But I really doubt it. The highest point value of any FF figure released thus far is 150 points.
Superman in the Fast Forces is 150/200.
"Some say the glass is half empty, some say it's half full. But I say ...are you going to drink that?"
Namor is 5 points more, and can put him on his last click in 1 action.
Strongest one there is my tucas.
Edit: and has the defenders TA...huh. Namor FTW!
namor isnt the hulk and hulk isnt namor. Thats like saying oh use (fig.A) over (fig.B) since he can do this better or instead. Well maybe the whole point is that i wanna use figA and not a totally unrelated fig. I wanna use hulk, not namor. U could comapre hulk to other hulks to be fair about it, but not to someone totally different.

Namor shouldn't be able to beat the Hulk in a fistfight.

hulk just rolled impervious.
EDIT: i on more than one occasion had jameson KO a tank or 2. granted they were near death, but jjj shouldnt be able to do that either, even if the brute was near death. its clix. comic accurate doesnt mean much here.
Yeah, and honestly I don't want a ground-pounding beatstick to be much more than 200 points. Maybe 250, tops. Here's hoping the FF Hulk is good.
Hopefully, if he's not any better than the previous two NECAkids will have the good sense not to preview it before it's out.

I think the point is, the Hulk should be the last person in the world you should want to be standing next to when he's pissed. At least in the Marvel U. But Namor is clearly better at being a Melee piece. Fine, if Namor set the current bar in that department, i think we can all agree that at least 1 Hulk should surpass it. As it is, they don't even come close.

He's not implying you should use Namor instead of this Hulk. He's implying that a character that shouldn't be able to take Hulk in a straight-up fight (Namor) can take this version of Hulk, and do it in a single round.
CarlosMucha: that is like be running in a Olimpic race competition just one step to get the gold and then a Giant children place a mirror in your side and you discover what you are really a hamster over a whell and the gold is just a slice of chess. Avatar Summoning: Original GotG, Melter, Whiplash

I wouldn't mind seeing a split dial in the Hulk set either.
I'm really wondering why they abandoned this mechanic. It was used quite successfully in the Superman set, and I enjoyed the multi-dial generics in the Cap set too.

Except that it's supposed to be what the designers are designing around.
JJJ should never have been made as more than a Bystander pog at all, much less be able to take out a big brute character. Though I suppose he could talk someone into KO...

Looks like you missed the point, so let me explain it to you. Both of these figures are 150-point-range beatsticks with zero range and former Defenders. However, one of these is far-and-away the better figure. The problem is that it's the wrong one. Hulk beats Namor 9 times out of 10 in the comics and the same should be able to be said of Heroclix battles. Obviously, fans aren't getting the Hulk they want and are asking for.

This.
Comparing 130ish pt Legolas to 130ish pt Abomination is not a fair comparison, they are designed for very different purposes and they fit different roles on the team. 150ish pt Namor and 150ish pt Hulk are relatively similar and do relatively the same thing, hence a comparison is fair.
Iron River Read my wife's comic or I will say mean things about your dog.
I suckered these guys into playing: Feedback Damage
Well if the target is adjacent to a wall you can gain some bang for your buck.
Hit for 4, knockback into the wall for 1. Hit for 4 again, knockback into the wall for another 1.
10 damage - if you are a half-full kinda guy...
Indeed...and with the Leap/Climb that let him get into position...oh wait.

Lol. Glad we use Special Powers and Traits to make figures more accurate

Brave and Bold might be "boring" but I firmly believe Web of Spider-Man is the worst set since relaunch. The handful of "good" figures reek of power creep and overshadow the complete set in a horrible way. Bullseye counters like the entire set.

I really like a large portion of the WoS set. I think Bullseye and Nightcrawler give people fits (and I'll admit the Bagman is a bit nonsensical), but there are a large number of pretty inventive dials in there. I wish Ironclad was a bit more powerful, but the rest of the U-Foes are solid (and Ironclad really is too, he's just not as tough as he should be), the Spider-Man/Scarlet Spider/Venom incarnations have sculpts that are a bit boring, but they're decent clix, with a cool new mechanic. The GotG are all very good. Same goes for the Sinister Syndicate members, and the Outlaws aren't bad either. The X-Force members just rock. I love Black Cat too. Doppleganger is a character I've been long waiting for, and he doesn't disappoint. The main thing that bugs me about the WoS set are the Bystanders/AEs wasting spots in what is otherwise a very solid set (IMO).
In contrast, BatB was a set I had high expectations for (Batman is my favorite comic book character) and it left a lot to be desired. I think some of the factors working against it were beyond WK's control, as I explained above. But that they're explainable doesn't mean the issues aren't there.
Obviously it's subjective, and some folks like yourself will have other picks for "worst set ever" (and that's perfectly reasonable). That still doesn't make his comments hyperbole.
