As some folks on here know, I'm a big supporter of the Scorpion Clan of L5R (in fact, I was briefly "Scorpion Clan Financier" when I would send money to cons where the "battles between clans"-booths were happening....the money was to finance Scorpion players who wished to participate.) Ergo, running across this just made me get in huge trouble for laughing too loudly but it's worth it.

I just started playing the l5r card game and I am the only scorpion clan player. Need to get a herald membership when I can afford it so I can represent better LOL.

Both Vlad and I have wanted to put together a L5R mafia game, but as of yet, no dice.

Ok I'm lost , besides a card game what is L5R?

I believe that it's a collectible card game called Legend of the 5 Rings, but that's all I really know. An ex-girlfirend of mine was commissioned to do art for one of the L5R sets, forget which set.

Suffice it to say that I don't get CCG's, have never played them and have never had an interest to get into them. Not knocking CCG's, mind you, just stating that they are not my cup o' tea when it comes to gaming.

BTW, all of you healthy-habit folks and weight loss superstars have me making the effort to get back on the wagon that I so totally feel off of in the past few months. It also helped to have a visit with the doctor yesterday and talking about a much-needed change in my sedentary lifestyle. I finally got the nerve to step on a scale this morning and I have put on 6 lbs in the last 2 months. Ouch. So that is my starting point for the time being.

I renewed my Weight Watchers online membership early this morning. Now it's a matter of making and keeping my resolution to continue with a comprehensive program that will involve better habits in the following areas: eating, physical activity, sleeping, and overall stress management.

And so it goes.

I've started my day off with healthy goodness. I am at this moment enjoying a nice bowl of oatmeal - low sugar apple cinnamon, with a few raisins and pecans thrown in for yummy goodness. And a tall glass of cool water.

My party planning is coming along. I wish I was this dedicated two months ago.
