The best one I've heard was put up by psylockeslover a few months back .

Perplex NC's range up 1 , smack some bugger hiding on the roof and then get out of range . Now that was AWESOME!

I just played a 1000 point team with v Dr Doom using the GL team ability to carry r Psylocke,r Inv. girl,v Taskmaster,v Sandman,and r Yukio.In total I had two perplexers and two enhancments doing a total of 7 clicks with running shot.Between attacks I switched to Batman team for my 3 wildcards and positioned them to shield the others.I positioned myself in range of BGatman hiding in stealth.On my next turn I switched Doom to Supermam TA and dealt 7 to him,then finished him off.It was a three way game and I dominated everybody.

This works better at the end of a game when some pieces are gone. put your range pieces on a roof with a ladder (not a large building with stairs). Then put your medic or any other low point figure on the square next to the ladder on the roof. If your oppent has no range pieces left he can't get up, if he can't get up he can't hit you! One low point guy can give you a sweet little base to shoot everyone else. This does not work if they have more range than you, fliers, or LC left.

My favorite nasty tactic is on the indy outdoor map get le superman on the rooof and surround him by stealthers so he is untouchablethen have him hypersonic out onto the fieldand then run hide

MY FAVORITE INVOLVES E JOHNNY ALPHA, E COSMIC BOY JEAN GREY, ROBIN, 3 CON ARTIST AND A VETERAN THOR.

SEND OUT COSMIC BOY TEN SPACES INTO STEALTH. TK JOHNNY WITH JEAN TO COSMIC HAVE HIM MOVE ANOTHER 10 INTO STEALTH. ON THE NEXT ROUND PUSH ALL THE CON ARTIST TO PERPLEX THOR TO 7 CLICKS OF DMG. TK HIM 3 TIMES TO GET INTO THEIR CAMP AND UNLEASH AN ATTACK FOR SEVEN CLICKS ON THEIR SIDE OF THE BOARD.

Myfavorite involves a sentinel/Sinerstro,A dozen or so hookers,and Blizzard.I played that in a 300 point game and didn't lose a figure.

And what would all this be good for?

You can attack all the way to the other side of the board with Thor's RS + TK, anyway?

If you place JG and Thor in the second row of your starting area, you can TK Thor to row 12. If he then moves only another 2 squares with his RS he can already row 24 (i.e. the opposite side of the board), due to his 10 Range.

I don't see what the advantage of this triple TK could be.....

My fav opening move is to use R GL to carry multiple cheetahs & U catwoman to the middle of the map. then on wy next turn cut loose with a B/C/F on my opponents heavy. Follow up with catwwoman as needed.

it really cuts people when u outwit impervious (especially on an exxpensive/good figure) then perplex firelord up.
unfortunantly this will be taken out with the new power of3 rule.

to bad cheetah has battle fury and cant be carried

First I TK up Nightcrawler, Perplex his damage, then he runs out to smack someone and then take cover. Someone taxis up Colossus to a safe yet easy to reach spot. Next turn I Perplex him again and push Nightcrawler for another hit and run. At the end of his movement, Nightcrawler stops adjacent to Colossus. He uses the X-Men TA to take the click of damage away from Nightcrawler, and thus give himself the click he needed to be decent anyway.

If by hiding on the roof you are referring to someone in stealth, this wouldn't work. You can't range attack someone that's in stealth.

HSS grab the dumpster smack the baddie, pick the dumpster back up and run around a corner.

he probably means speed stat. if so, though, i fail to see how this is a nasty tactic over just the proper use of perplex.

"Hiding" in this case refers to a figure that can't be reached by a Charge or a HSS close combat attack. But if you Perplex the Range of a HSS Fig from 0 to 1 he can now do a ranged HSS attack up to 1 square away, i.e. also from grounded to a roofedge. So in the end Nightcrawler could attack Bullseye on the roof without ever having to move up to that roof.
