In Golden Age, he will take to the field with 3 friends of the "ahem" Rookie Con Artist variety, plus their "minder", Sarah St John.
This will push him up to a 20 defence with a plus one to damage, and even with his the eventual demise of his "fan club" he should still be swinging. Add Destiny Rk or Irene Adler LE, plus any competant medic, and voila !
OR - give him a flock of experianced DEO agents - same result.
Later, people.

So pretty much just play him with the same figures that anyone else can be better with in Golden Age, wooo.
Played him twice today. Utterly disappointing. That 15 Defense is crap. His Biomorphic shield is defensive and very limited. Never once came into play successfully. Bummed at this figure's performance for the points.
I was initially skeptical about this character. I faced off against him in the opening to NML. He was played poorly to say the least.
After I pulled him in the brick I purchased I decided to give him a go. Running him with a ranged attacker (I was using Mr. Freeze) is brutal. Yes, his defense at points is laughable, but if your opponent doesn't deal with him immediately it is pretty much an instant KO for whichever character you put Warblade up against.
A GREAT tie-up piece with fantastic damage potential. Try him out with a range character for backup and I think you may be surprised.
As a close combat piece, he's pretty fragile, and typically relies heavily on dierolls to have any effectiveness (Blades, regen), which have a habit of striking out when you need a home run. However, being carried by a mobile ranged attacker, he is an INCREDIBLE bodyguard. His barrier power means that, as long as he doesn't do anything else, he can throw up a mobile shield every turn, after his partner takes the shot. The only ways to deal with it are to waste an action knocking down the wall, take the time to flank them, or base them, which can either be broken with a carefully placed diagonal barrier, or, you know, Warblade can just charge them. Its not a comic accurate way to play, but its crazy effective.
Imagine Warblade being carried around by Void using his SP. It's a nasty combination that almost guarantees the WildCATS get to control the pace of the battle.

void is what makes the wildcats team work in Heroclix. Just like in the comics they jump in and hit hard. I have played the whole team at least 4 times now and they are fantastic. They are very competetive. I now know why they made the other's stats so low, any highier and they would be to crazy good. This is a well rounded team and extreemly fun to play. Love them.
I was hopeful, but after 5 games with this guy he's a flamin' turd. Whoever designed him must not have read the comics at all. Of any character, he should have had B/C/F the most. His entire schtick is shapechanging into sharp weapons....
Biomorphic shield is useless, and his naked defense of 15 gets him punched past anything useful.
He has to be used right, but I do like him. He's got a long dial, the tapered regen, and the free action barrier can be put to very strategic use. My only complaint is the CCE on the regen clicks along with flurry. I would have preferred a higher defense on those clicks and simply lost the CCE.
