If anyone knows of anything (Pax, too, since he is a head hunter, apparently), I am an attorney that has specialized in foreclosure compliance. I began as a regular level analyst and ended managing a team of six attorneys and one banking expert.

If it's any comfort, the fact that foreclosure processing is no longer a growth industry should be seen as a reflection of the overall improvement of the economy.

You know your luck stinks when you get laid off because the economy is improving.

Not at all my industry, but if you ever have general questions about recruiting things feel free to shoot me a PM.
We got an email today saying that we are finished. They shut down the entire project within the hour.
I am now unemployed again. Sad day. I had the job for about 9 months and enjoyed it well enough.
On an eerily similar note, the Federal Agency that I work for got a mandate from OPM for an immediate work stoppage. This affects all of the projects that I have been working for more than a year now.
The stoppage is supposed to last 90 days, so my Upper Management is scrambling to figure out what is to be done about the personnel attached to the projects. Where possible, individuals will be redeployed. If near-term positions can't be found, some folks will be let go. And this comes two days before that my newest baby daughter will be born. Ugh.

The recruitment process for the job I interviewed for before Christmas is supposed to finish this week, so if I'm lucky I may get a job soon. If I'm not lucky, I'm going to need a new plan...

It always seems to me like the recruitment process for the companies you interview with really sucks.
Is that typical of Sweden? (Sweden, right?) Or do you just interview with companies that don't value a good recruitment process?
I'm just really looking forward to getting home and finishing up Assassin's Creed III. I was totally unaware there was an epilogue and so I now I need to attack that.
Can't wait to murder George Washington in the DLC.
