Some it gives off a bit of a Spartacus vibe to it without as much gore that you expect from vikings and the sex scenes are a bit awkward.

Viking sex is always awkward, it's too cold in the frozen north so you have to get it on in such a way that your blankets don't fall off.

Game of Thrones has taught me that there is more shaving in the frozen north than one might expect with the cold temperatures.
