Yep that exactly is my thought process.

My Fawlty Towers Mafia had a lot of effects that triggered on timestamps. The Mafia had to PM their actions individually... Didn't work that well...

I would not rely on that, but the mod could definitely use the first action submitted rather than any other method.

Well, yeah, as a mod I always found it easier (and more fair) to just do it randomly if it was that kind of situation. But that might just be me.

And I really HATE justphilty's logic... first, you assume the mafia HAS a CMD, and second, you're eliminating a certain townie (or at worst, a town-friendly neutral).

Oh, and third, in a game this size, who's to say that the town doesn't have a CMD?

I guess that.. So either there was a mass role block which saved me, or I can misdirect the pgo effects and it hppened to hit eternal, though the write up doesn't support that.. I need to ponder my next move.

Or the PGO effect was randomized. As it tends to be.
It's not nice to penalize players for sending actions early.

Yeah, I would just randomize it myself. Sorry if I'm wearing my mod hat a lot, but that's the perspective I come from on these things.

Of course, Girathon is pretty different from me, mod-wise, so I dunno how much that's worth... I just know what's easiest on MY sanity when running these things.
