Light and Prometheus were around forever (I think we're finally getting the hang of Prometheus) and even Ultron had a decent run.

Start with the Atom. BTAS one. Mercy TKs him to K9 and he Pulse Waves. Rolls 9. (Forgot to roll 3 dice, but I guess I didn't need to.) KOs the two closes ant-swarms. Also the Bronto, but that's ok. 1 each to Doctor, Silverclaw and Living Lightning.

"Let's start off with a little burst from the bit of dwarf star in my belt," the Atom said. The ant swarms were blown away and several of their opponents stunned.

"You carry around a piece of a star?" Starbrand asked.

"A small piece."

"That's rad!" Starbrand said, while shooting down Silverclaw.

"You're not so shabby yourself there," the Atom pointed out.

"Yes, yes," the Owl said. "We're all worthwhile in our own way. Now can we finish the support group and get back to the fight?" he asked, incapacitating Living Lightning so that Shiklah could attack him.

I'll be honest, I expected worse, too. Then again, you took out one character, severely hurt or limited two and destroyed two annoying pogs. That's success, in my eyes.

Unfortunately, that puts me in the 500 point gap. I just don't want to hand out freebies. So I'll try for less than that.

Scarlet Witch on the Owl. Wanda hasn't been much of a factor in this game, I hope we get a more aggressive version soon, she seems to be a little cheated compared to some of the other Avengers on her level. Needs 6 + 1, rolls 6. PCs that to 8. SS is 1. 2 to him.

Lightning gets cce back. He may as well use it, he's certainly vulnerable where he is. Makes his av 11. Needs 6 + 2, rolls 6. 1 to Lightning.

The dilemma with close combat characters you like is the chance they will be koed too quickly versus keeping them safe and having them do zip. Falcon was a victim of the former.
