What do you do when you get to the point where you just have enough of a certain group of characters and no interest in the new set? Just not feeling this set and I am running out of space. Enjoyed Battle world. Store never got Earth X, no Rebirth yet. More Avengers? Just not feeling this set
Most Wanted:DC Super Friends - El Dorado, Rima.
Finish the classic Legion of Super-Heroes - Light(ning) Lass, Ferro Lad, Chemical King, Quizlet.

See if you can hunt down the 'meta' pieces as ammunition for when you REALLY want something. I picked up a Infinity Gauntlet Black Panther just on the off chance the Ultra Chase is God Doom

What I do:
1) play in sealed because it is always fun
2) replace characters - a 60 point Black Panther? Is he better than the 50, 60 and 75 point version I have?
3) save for a set you want
I bought 1 booster of Avengers Infinity, 2 boosters of What If? and 3 boosters of Battleworld and 3 boosters of Earth X. All because I bought a good amount of ADW and those sets were not reaching far enough beyond Avengers.
I am stoked to see Villains in the BP set but the Cosmic and Avenger side will mainly be a pass unless they replace things in my collection.
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.

Save for when we finally get a Fantastic Four set.
I'm kind of hoping we can get some of the villains killed by the Scourge that the Hood brought back to life. It would make up a bit for not getting a Kingpin of Crime Hood if we could get Lascivious/Titania I, Letha and some of the others.

AND DEATH’S A BIT TOO MUCH.

This is pretty much where I am.
Play some sealed, see what I get, and then just ignore the rest or go the singles route, buying or trading, to get the most-wanted figures.

Well, I get that this question is semi-rhetorical. I think you have a pretty good idea what you are going to do.
As for me, even with the repeated characters, there is a LOT about this set that will keep me buying:
(all personal reasons)
1. No X-Men Animated
- Our next set after this one is one I plan to skip entirely. I have NEVER done that. If I were to buy low on AvBPIll (my abbreviation for this set), that would be a long stretch for feeding my new clix fix.
2. Black Panther fan
- Yeah, I know Black Panther has had plenty of love in the last 3 years or so from this game, and for folks who aren't as into the character as I am, I imagine you'd feel like you've got plenty to work with. Christopher Priest made me a diehard fan in the late 90s and I am always down for more BP/Wakanda characters. Everett K. Ross is probably the single piece I want the most at this point, but getting another BP, some Midnight Angels, and an entire Fast Forces (with some unmade BP characters) is right up my alley.
3. This is the Endgame Set
- If we were going to get an Avengers: Endgame set in Heroclix, it would have long ago been announced. This set is as close as we are likely to get. In addition to The Avengers, there are a lot of folks included here that might not be exactly the cinematic version, they could still be described as movie-adjacent. I see Proxima Midnight, The Collector, the BP characters I mentioned above, The Infinity Gauntlet, etc.
4. I am a deep-dive comic nerd
- Really, this is an excuse to love almost every set. This just means I get delighted when this game shines a light on different stories and runs than just the obvious. I love almost all characters getting clixed for the first time. The Torres Falcon, Rune, The Astronomer, and Nakia (as Malice likely) are all new to the game. I love seeing salutes to older comics, like the amazing Kang chair. I remember the epic feeling of reading that MTIO Annual which featured the heroic bricks of the Marvel U all attempting to fight The Champion in a boxing match to save the Earth, which showed more than any other comic I had read the indomitable fighting spirit of Benjamin Grimm. You know I'm going to need that Champion figure.
- Sorry to hear its not your personal cup of tea, Superfriend, but as for me, I am still getting a bunch of this.
...now, if we can just get Professor Pyg confirmed.
i'm personally hoping for some deep cuts into the panther lore. my main drive in clix is the unclixed and the uncarded. I have no flgs, so I almost always get singles from sets

I freaking LOVED that issue of Marvel 2 in 1.
I miss the 80's way of writing comics. Not having to follow 10 different books to keep up with everything was so nice

Yeah, I'm currently not interested in any figure since either I already have a good representation of the character or I'm not interested in the character at all. Cap with the Gauntlet is cool, but I don't go for Chases most of the time (too expensive for me). Hopefully there'll be more interesting unclixed characters for me.
