Out of curiosity do you use your phone or tablet when you are on this site? I find using either device annoying when it comes to posting links.

Agreed. I pretty much only post on here when I am on my actual desk top PC, esp. when I'm sharing music links. Pain in the arse on my phone or a tablet.


Yeah phantalien, I saw you and some of the other Realmsers/LPCers commented/liked the Sturgill Simpson Facebook post. I liked the anime enough that I actually watched it again last night with a couple less bourbons in me. Just amazing stuff. The last vignette being AFTER the credits was kind of annoying for such a short video, but I was glad I rewatched it because I'm pretty sure I missed most of it the first time through. Plus it bridges a pretty key period in the main character's development. Not that a revenge-seeking ninja cowgirl musclecar driver needs it to be even cooler...

I haven't watched it yet... I just hope I like it because I was not into Heavy Metal.

I saw it in high school and for so long I only got to see the box. I think I was so disappointed with the animation compared to the box art I couldn't get around it.

This will not disappoint. Promise. I've been listening to the Sound & Fury album for like 3 days now any chance I get. Sturgill, Gary Clark Jr, and Chris Stapleton are definitely my 3 favorite musicians right now. But Sound & Fury is 2 severed heads above anything else I've latched onto lately.

Though how that B-17 sequence alone in Heavy Metal didn't make you a believer is beyond me. That was some good stuff. I still listen to the soundtrack on a cassette player in the basement a few times a year!

I am winning. Because sleeping in to my kids means 6:30 or 6:45 at best. And for the dogs it means no later than 7am even if the kids are gone. So by winning I mean it sucks that I am always out of bed by 7am.
