I hope those new mindless ones are really cheap because mystics is about the only thing, they have going for them. I think the old ones may be laughing at them & they are pretty dated.
If Mystics still dealt unavoidable damage, it'd be way more useful (and more flavorful). A team of these Mindless Ones would, conceivably work in that context, simply because they'd wear down opposing forces for engaging with them, just like they did in the comics since the Silver Age.
...but because Invincible is all over the place, these things will be struggling to KO things. Add to that just how many things deal 3 damage in the current game, it's unlikely the Mindless Ones will even see their more dangerous latter 2 clicks.
It is what it is... I just wanted to be more impressed by these dudes
It’s weird seeing them as close combat pieces when all previous had psy blast, perhaps the Mindful Ones Scott hinted at will be more like the past ones
this is a bit more Winter soldier than bucky. Feels like someone turned in the wrong assignment.
Go read Avengers/Invaders. This dial VERY much represents the Bucky from that run: dangerous, dark, willing to do what it takes, such as keeping plastic explosive under his thumbnail.

It would be nice if he did something for them a la Blackheart & the Hellfire Club Guards.
Right now, the Fury feel more like Mindless Ones to me.

Targeting: Hindering MIGHT OF RUSSIA: Crimson Dynamo and adjacent friendly characters' defense powers have Protected: Outwit
Really happy to see this guy coming back into the action and IF we get the Winter Guard / Soviet Super-Soldiers - that will be fantastic! The dial is fine and thanks to the over-production of equipment, is a nice vanilla dial on which to add the things I must/need.
That said, this sculpt makes me so sad. It dates me, but this looks like something I paid 0.25 for at the front of a K-Mart.
I'm pleased with Hawkeye - but not wowed. Same with "More of the same" Cap.
One thing I really do like, though, is the amount of villains in 2 boosters.
KLAW, Hydra goon, Mindless One, Crimson Dynamo - 40%, so far. We usually only get Spider-Man sets with that percentage of villains. Hopefully there are more on the way...
Visible Dials and Pushing Damage need to be optional. This is the way.
oh my god we might have a definitive Hulk. Stand by.

Movement: Destroy Blocking GAMMA CLAP: Once per range attack, when Hulk or an adjacent friendly character would be hit, you may roll 2d6. If you do and your roll is equal to or greater than the attacker's finalized attack roll, the attack automatically misses all targets and after resolutions deal 1 penetrating damage to the attacker. Protected: Pulse Wave. HULK ANGRY: STOP. Regeneration. Impervious, but succeeds on 4-6 and can reduce Penetrating Damage.//Hulk has SAFEGUARD: Outwit NO HURT HULK FRIEND: Battle Fury, Close Combat Expert
That dial is great with a possibility of Hulk doing 50 damage before falling. I can easily see using him very often. The keyword combination of both the Avengers and Defenders made me jump. While I enjoy using Avengers theme teams. I love using the classic Defenders lineup of Strange, Surfer, Hulk and Namor.

Great Hulk dial, and this updated version has both the Avengers and Defenders TA, of which the later I have been wanting for a long time. Thank you Wizkids.

I have to agree with you on the sculpt, since it lacks detail and doe not look like armor with that dull matt finish. Needed to be more detailed with a semi-gloss or gloss paint finish, like the one from the Captain America Set had.
For Hulk, it’s not just Defenders TA. It’s Defenders TA plus great values to share plus a chance to not only block but punish EVERY shot that comes in at him.
Is he pricey? Yeah. But he also takes the “stay out of range and shoot him” Hulk disposal technique and turns it into a big gamble.

Couldn't agree more on this. Some of the recent sets in particular have been severely lacking in the villains area and as someone who's personally much more of a villain fan than a hero fan I'm pleased with what we've seen so far.
