I love how this song begins with electric guitar going into acoustic strumming and how a great Irish folk tune becomes a classic rock great. Thin Lizzy are one of the progenitors of dual guitar attacks, but this one is a bit different, and it works beautifully.
A slight word of caution regarding some of Dario Russo's tracks (including the Kill-Men linked above): The versions on YouTube of a few of his Danger 5: Series 1 stuff aren't complete. That is, they aren't the complete length. Bandcamp has the complete length versions.
I added a few things to my Winter Holiday (mostly Christmas) playlist. Something for (most) everyone, some possibly questionable material... certainly there are some questionable artists.
The file list was exported as plain text, so some of the special characters may have been clobbered.

A serious question. How the heck does someone know a group like this? As you said, Beatles/Black Sabbath influenced Japanese band from 1971. Is this new to you or longtime knowledge? Either way, I had no idea.

The worst music I heard today was Leonard Roseman's score for Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. IT often sounds more like a Home alone movie's soundtrack than anything Star Trek related.
Weird, but this was an Academy Award-nominated effort!

YOU Bastitch. YUou made me go and listen. Now I can never watch the movie the same way
Every now and again, I listen to this song to remind how much music can mean to making the world better and for actually making a difference. In this case it made a significant difference to the Emerald Isle.
From Wikipedia:
"Zombie" is a protest song by Irish alternative rock band the Cranberries. It was written by the lead singer, Dolores O'Riordan, about the young victims of a bombing in Warrington, England, during the Troubles in Northern Ireland. The song was released on 19 September 1994 by Island Records as the lead single from the Cranberries' second studio album, No Need to Argue (1994). Critics have described "Zombie" as "a masterpiece of alternative rock", with grunge-style distorted guitar and shouted vocals uncharacteristic of the band's other work.
