Disappointment in how the set turns out is not a disqualifier from discussion. I have never gotten this mentality.
And before anyone says "well if you don't like deadpool why are you even here?" (too late), since the beginning of the game they've included off-theme or alternate subthemes precisely so they can get a little money from everybody. And there's nothing wrong with outsider perspective and opinion on mechanics or health of the game.
Agreed
This set has a very strong presence of the original xforce:
1. Cable
2. Domino*
3. Cannonball
4. Boom boom
5. Shatterstar
6. Feral
The members not in this set (so far)
7. Sunspot
8. Warpath (just made in uxm)
9. Rictor
10. Siryn
I'd prefer the slots going to others (as the most recent versions are still good), but I wouldn't be surprised if some of these filled the precious few remaining spots
I think the addition of strife should add some spots MLF guys, then have one spot for bishop. and Rhino and I think its a sure fire win. We just need to see the last few spots.
It's almost as if everyone has forgotten about Brave and Bold. Although, that's probably for the better.
BatB is probably 2nd worst DC set for me now. It was worst for many years though.
Hulk is probably the worst Marvel set, IMO. Even in that set there were some good figures (I love those versions of Leader), but a lot of it was bad.
CarlosMucha: that is like be running in a Olimpic race competition just one step to get the gold and then a Giant children place a mirror in your side and you discover what you are really a hamster over a whell and the gold is just a slice of chess. Avatar Summoning: Original GotG, Melter, Whiplash

My issue was people comment about the hate for the set. Like if you don't like it ok.. Post about what you're hyped for or maybe a bit disapointed by it, but don't just say how it's the worst set ever, because it's going to start arguments and that makes Jaysol's job so much harder
Current Waifus: Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Catwoman, Wonder Woman, and brownie cookies
Exalted Scott Porter is the true hero of the hcrealms community and the Rainbow Bridge that connects us feeble peasants to the giant floating citadel of wizkids, give that man some front page love mods!!!
I've seen both ATAs used quite a bit, especially with Cyclops/Mags as the leadership figures, but that's just me I suppose.
Just saying the similarities of Nightwing/Psylocke are there. You might say more useful, that's fine, but I think both are potentially good. I'll give you that both might be a bit overcoasted, maybe a 75-80 point range would be more appropriate, but I don't she's that far off of Nightwing was more my point.
Ok, comparing any figures to the Shredder Clone and chases is bad. Shredder Clone + Shark Shredder is even worse. You KO Shredder Clone (for 85 points). Shark Shredder comes out with Steal Energy. Oh you KO him? Comes back again on click #4. So for 12-14 clix (I can't remember exactly) for 85 points that can deal penetrating damage after moving and/or sidestepping and does all that they can do with a great starting AV of 12. You could compare him to any figure in the game and he'd smoke 'em 1v1 and it wouldn't even be close.
Can't answer you on the mindblade question, but it is there as an option. There are a lot of figures with those powers and doing a minimum of 4 damage is not bad. Sure, it's not flurry to mitigate a miss, but it's not terrible.

2. Nightwing is much more useful even without Zucco (which is easily worth 10-20 points), see rant:
He is indomitable. He has improved movement which with stealth is a big deal. He has flurry for big damage up front, she doesn't. He has a source of perplex/support for your whole team, she doesn't. Her defense is better on clix in the middle of the dial which you probably won't see.
ATA - Meh, requires theme and extra points.
X-Men TA - I have been an X-Men theme player since I started and can count one hand the number of times I have used it.
3. She is the same point cost as mini shredder, and in this deadpool set there are at least 5 pieces (+ shifting focus) at 90 points or less that I would pick over her for the same cost.
4. 84 point Psylocke seems to be better overall.
5. Now that I think about it, why does her mindblade have improved impact on people with psychic abilities? Is that new? Did I miss that before?
6. It seems everything got cheaper, see 70 point wolverine. Why didn't she get a discount?
There's been like 10 page's worth of comments without any evidence. Makes my job much harder.
Harder? Or more fun...?

I really wish there were more Serpent Society members in this set, especially unclixed ones. The sub theme announcement got me hyped. So far I'm a little disappointed in that.

Does he ride a unicorn too?

I was on the thread because I love X-men. Deadpool is a mutant, there was a good possibility other mutants I like would be in this set. The previous Deadpool set had a few figs I wanted, so I was thinking this one would too.

Excuse me for expressing my disappointment. I like to buy heroclix, but there's nothing in this set for me, which is rare. Which is why I said, FOR ME, this is the worst set.

Just to nitpick, while he generally shows up in mutant related books, Deadpool is not a mutant. His powers were given to him by Weapon X and were derived from Wolverine's healing factor.

That's not entirely true. During Cable & Deadpool, Mr. Sinister revealed that Wade actually is a mutant. His power? His metabolism is insanely quick in that it can process food very efficiently to where he doesn't gain a lot of weight. Basically, dude can eat a lot. It's a lame power, but there you have it. Wade is technically a mutant. Then again, most everyone has a small mutation
