But yeah.. if duo pieces are chases.. I have to wonder how much of a chase they really are considering its one per brick (so the rumor is going currently). to make it one cable/deadpool per 2 cases

That's really not much more rare than a regular super rare rarity.

the absence of Six Pack is kind of annoying, Ignoring the SP it almost feels like a pre-Avengers dial. Its ok I guess, but I was expecting something different. Still a decent dial but nothing inspiring.

This may be the colossal that I hope I get in my order or to make me buy some more superboosters. The piece has so much use for 300 and 100 points. A piece like this would be a monster in a 300 point game using his 100 point starting line and building some great support around him with that 200 points.

She definitely will most likely have the least value of the Super Rares but I still like her.

She is like the Zan and Jana Duo from DC 75th.

Her point value and defend Save her IMO. 18 defend AND Impervious AND she can do some damage make her a good backup for the X-Men.

You might even wait to push her b/c she can use her TA to push and then give her teammate the 18 defense.

About Colossus/Wolverine's special power, the correct wording is:

This leads me to believe that the first attack and second both deal damage. The second sentence starts with "if that attack hits" so the first roll was indeed a ranged attack. The second attack is worded as "close combat action." Again this is the same wording as the first sentence which leads us to believe this deals damage too because it goes on to say "modifying their damage value by +1 for that attack."

I suspect the damage power is a combination of Colossus' Invulnerability and the Common Wolverine's trait of healing at the beginning of your turn.

I hope this clears some things up a little.

yeah this is pretty nice. real surprise though, as he seems to be the only figure in this set to not really fit in with the rest.

while i like him, i think it is a mistake to put him in this set. first off, he should be the same size as surtur shouldn't he? and also, this set is so devoted to x-men, if a hardcore x-men says buys a brick or guys and pulls this guy, they may be pretty disappointed.

oh well.

Personally, I don't really care that much if he fits the theme. HE IS COOL.

I could see someone being upset if there is a glaring omission to the X-men theme.
Are we missing any Colossal figure ?

I'm torn on this duo. I actually like what they did with it but I was hoping for something like this. Have the duo be an AE with a single Wolvie and Colossus fig. If you give them the range attack replace the duo with Colossus and place Wolvie adjacent to the target. Oh well, guess all my dreams can't come true. (I am finally getting a new Cyclops after all)

Sorry this is just a giant meh for me. Not a huge Thor fan, so I guess it's just personal taste here. I ordered 2 bricks from my local shop, if this is indeed a real figure with my luck i'll end up with him in both super boosters. Perhaps I'll find someone to trade with. haha.

Ditto. These are my most wanted of the colossals now. Apocalypse and Onslaught do not interest me and will most likely be traded unless their dials are phenomenal.

i just think they shouldn't do duo figures anymore at all. i think that most people don't even really like them, or at least it seems this way.

all it really does is take up slots that could have gone to other characters. we already have a wolverine in this set (and plenty others).

it would have been nice to get a new solo colossus though

It is indeed a real fig, and if you do get extras, I will be glad to trade for them.

I love the idea of that, or even just having a Colossus and Wolverine single base figures that can do the same thing. This one is still kind of cool though, and the defense special power seems pretty nice. I am actually hoping this isn't a case figure.
