Count me in as one who wants this duo for the sculpt alone - representing the costumes in the era circa UXM 210-220, when I started reading about mutants,

I've accepted the fact that the duo is a REAL nasty figure who will be devastating in combat - but I won't use it outside of sealed.

I hate duos.

I'm not sure if I can choose to use him as Colossus only as they emulate the 2 quite well - but I really don't want an X-Men piece like this.

An alternative may be finding some kind of character that could do this also and make him a single style figure. I'm torn as well - but after BatB, I know I won't field but 2 or 3 duos ever made.

Hopefully there is enough other great X-Men stuff that I won't miss "them".

I think I will like/dislike this figure more when I know what the SP is, word for word.

there could still be chases/ other SR's. Where are the Horsemen??

I'd have liked a more neutral pose for a generic.

I just can't see a line of squatting Giants on my shelf. Well, not without drugs.

I feel there's nothing wrong with the M&M Colossus and there was absolutely no need to redo him like some people are asking for. This duo does work well for what it's intended to do, but I'm also in the camp that thinks duos like this are pointless. If I wanted to play these two characters I would play them separately, not joined at the hip on one mixed up crazy blended dial.

At least the duo's a chase, so it won't be much of an issue for those anti-duo players. I generally don't field duos outside of JLI teams, but I wouldn't mind pulling the Colossus/Wolverine duo.

really the only thing i dislike about duos are the ones on peanut bases. and the only reason i dislike those is because they take up too much space in my plano cases.
i think this one is on a single base.
however, i digress.

i think this duo is gonna be fun to try actually and i look forward to playing it!

Dude. 9 clicks of health with 7 clicks of Invuln (5 of those capable of healing instead if need be), 7 clicks where the AV doesn't drop below 10, 7 clicks that don't drop below 3 damage (with a few that are capable of more even without the SP) with Regen and the X-Men TA at only 190? I'll take that any day. Yeah, duos have their issues, but this one is actually really good for the points.

Im actually pro duo. I enjoy Harley Ivy, Ironman War Machine, BlackShazam, Devil Dino, and Powerman Ironfist.

Well, that's all cool. Now I know I don't need to chase any of these giants and stuff.

Actually, this one is on a double base if you look at the pics.

It is to bad they did not keep it on a single base like the original preview we had for it. But this will still be the one I try and get.
