This is the last game I'm going to do for a while. I would have taken a break after this one, but I don't want to leave the site and run the risk of never doing X. It must be done.

Who actually read the last writeup?

Ok, good. This is what I would have expected. Though I really did start to think I wasn't really kidnapped and it was just a ghost write notepass combo, as I got a PM saying I was kidnapped and there was nothing to indicate that. I started to think it was just a ghost write you might have missed. I started to really suspect JoH here, as he was talking about an unused creative use of notepass in my Monster Mash game, and thought this was it. This is why I thought a info dump was worth it, as if I was wrong, eh, I'm dead anyways, if I wasn't, well, I saw through the notepass.

I did.


I wasn't talking about missing being silenced or thread spamming. I'm talking about four players playing this game outside the thread.

What? A note pass that says "You have been silenced. You may not post during this day phase?"

Yeah, that's one thing I came up with.

There's a better one.

I mean, you were the biggest opponent it seemed to not free me. I was getting very paranoid I wasn't actually kidnapped, and getting prepared to be pretty angry about it.

I have not yet, but I am going to do so here in a bit.

I assumed you did, you read everything and don't miss anything story or character wise.

What did you think of the way things ended/began again?

TBB and Rokk both seemed to be implying there was outside discussion of this game related to a donation contingent on TBB posting his role pm.

Maybe I missed a page and that happened on thread. Maybe Rokk broke the rules and TBB didn't respond.

However, it very much appeared like Rokk basically bribed TBB (sorta. I'm sure Rokk would have donated anyway) via pm or similar and TBB agreed, roleclaimed mafia and lost the game because of it. That seems...way over the line to me.


As for the story, I loved it. You've got a knack for these games ending with a bang. Some of that comes from having close games but even the npcs (Desperado, Wineskin, Deadhawk last game and Grey Matter especially this game) get in on the action and set up a climactic showdown.

I like the number of surviving characters at this point. Part of the series' strength has always been bringing the last game into the next game.

New setting will be fun. I wonder if dead characters are back on the table?

Oh, I don't think that was it. I don't think Rokk would ever need to bribe TBB to win. TBB did submit an action trying to kill everyone, he just didn't realize how screwed he was with what he seemingly had left.

That discussion happened during the game, when TBB mentioned he was busy doing a fundraiser and reached out for donations. Rokk and another person donated. Then Rokk brought it up again in kind of a joking jabbing way. But I never got the impression there was anything going on otherwise.



As for the story, thank you. And yes they are, did you see the signup thread? For X only, you can choose a dead character.

The roster has become larger, I'm worried about the long writeups that no one is gonna read, haha.

It was the mafia that created Nekron/Hela, Scardude and Runaway Star. And now they're in the fold.

If I'm upset with you, it's for not winning. Once I got lynched, I was rooting for the mafia and/or cult hardcore.

I played bad but you went out of your way to lynch me. We had erage and to a lesser extent adam not to mention my numbers analysis regarding Girathon and myself when you were proved wrong. The town got lucky that there was a bulletproof magnet and Vig left.

The big reason I was pissed is because of Lock. Win two games with her when I should have been lynched and lose one when I shouldn't have been lynched. I had some attachment to the character and Jawa even used his power on me. You guys were hellebent on lynching me and that's that.

You know, if you'd lynched Quebbs instead of me, the whole endgame would have played out differently. Worst cult ever.

Playing to win is not "an ugly thing." Five players left, two are mafia, and one of the non-mafia has an optional kill? Absolutely not an unwinnable game position, and sandbagging is a little ridiculous.

Or you could've lynched Quebbs before you went to bed!

I was super disappointed to be lynched after I went to sleep. You guys had all day to lynch me, why the change of heart at 2am? Fair's fair though.

Congrats to the winners, particularly Rokk, who I thought played very well.
