Champions 06/10: Villians United. 1000 pts. 5 actions. villianous figures only. ICWO cannot be played. unrestricted.
Titans 06/11: Brown out. Whenever a power is going to be used that figures controller rolls a die. On a roll of 4, 5, or 6 that power does not work. Defensive powers, B/C/F, and stealth will still work as normal. 300 pts, 3 actions.
Both of these will be local qualifiers.

Since it is summer time, I'm looking for some crazy ideas. Crazy ideas for tournaments, specifically for the tournament at champions coming up on the 24th.
Also, I'm thinking we might try some format breaking tournaments with alternate win conditions, or some structured battle royals that will be really challenging.
Some examples of what I mean when I say 'really challenging battle royals,'
Mutant Massacre
I would field a 300 pt Sentinel, Bastion, Sentinel Captain, and Sentinel troopers. There is the possibility that I would add extra sentinels to reach whatever designated point build. Each player would build an army, and also would be required to bring along a certain number of morlocks, moloids, thugs, lackeys, and BST to represent mutants, criminals, and other 'undesirables' that are being targeted by the sentinels. There would be a large penalty if you let all of the targeted characters get KO'd, such as a negative addition to your point totals at the end of the match or all of your figures having to take a click and an action token to represnt demoralization.
or
Superman is a ####.
Your amries will face off against nigh unstoppable supermen. I would field figs. such as Superman (unl.), Superman (OWAW), Superman (HT), General Zod (lgc.), and Ultraman(lgc.). These figs. would all have fortitude, not take action tokens or push, be immune to perplex, and share team abilities. Other conditions would be that they are immune to BFCs, but you would still play them to gain strategic advantage over your opponents. Once all players have had two turns the outer two rows became uninhabitable, if your figure is in these two rows it takes a click on everyone one of your turns that it remains in those two rows. If a superman fig. is KO'd, I leave it KO'd on my next turn, but on the turn after the turn it was KO'd it is revived at full strength. Players would battle for the most kill points, Supermen and opponents figs., as well as longest survival time.
Just some ideas. If anyone has any really crazy ideas, post away. I mean crazy, but it still needs to be fun and not give any one player or fig. an unfair advantage.

Saw it last night. Didn't like it as much as Keaton/Nicholson Batman, but it was definitely good and looks like it's taking the Batman franchise in the right direction....not that that would be all that hard to do after the last couple movies.

not too impressed with nimrod. i have a scenario though.
A TRAITOR WALKS AMONGST US.
300 POINTS, 6 FIGURES, ALL WITHIN 40 - 60 POINTS.
NO FEAT CARDS, NO BATTLEFIELD CONDITIONS.
1 OF YOUR TEAM IS THE TRAITOR CONTROLLED BY YOUR OPPONENT
HE GETS STEALTH PLUS +1 ON DEFENSE
LINE UP FIGURES AT THE START NUMBERED 1 - 6
ROLL 1D6 WHICHEVER # COMES COME, THAT IS THE TRAITOR.
CAN NOT MOVE HIM OR ATTACK HIM 1ST TURN.
I'LL TELL MORE @ THE TOURNEY FRI
LET ME KNOW IF THIS SOUNDS INTERESTING.
I actually like the idea and would love to hear the whole scenerio if you get the chance. We run scenerios all the time at our venue and I like seeing new ones.
Thanks!

Hello everyone,
I am back from my vacation. If you have not been I would advise all of you go to Seattle. It was a blast. Plus, that place is full of Asian women. I was in heaven. I told Liza if we ever break up that is where I am moving. I thought the Nimrod figure looked good. I still prefer the Dr. Doom though. What did you guys think about them.
I wanted to say that I really liked Batman. Oddly enough, I did not like it as much as Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I loved that movie. Brad Pitt hops out of the back of the car a hits someone in the head with a golf club. It was great.
Also, I saw a man with a squirrel on a leash in Seattle. It was odd.
