Question for Zyxba: did you change up the powers that I created?
Yes. I tweaked anything I thought needed a bit of tweaking. Dark gifts sometimes needed a bit of darkness. A couple of things I added % chances to also (IE Fredwood's PGO)
So Zyx...how was it I got double-hit the Night I died if you'd already sent results not realizing I was going to be double-targeted? Did someone send in a Kill -long- after deadline?
@Sp - sorry but, nope, overpowered.
What really bugged me was Furby getting replaced end-game because he was used to there being duplicates of his power due to the 50/50. A replacement wasn't savvy to that and more likely to figure someone else claiming Vig was fibbing.
Nope, it was just a matter of me not reading everything correctly.
1) "Town if investigated" maybe shouldn't have had Toughest show as Town when dead.
2) A Don with 3 lives...go read the feud over Zygon in Order of the Stick for thoughts on that. It's a brutal battle of attrition.
Now, throw in rezzes, a Townie with multiple lives, a Cult leader who could have multiple lives and a PGO? It may sound whiney but that was just a heavy disbalance towards certain roles having a chance (yeah, myself included).
"Nobody important? That's amazing. You know, in 900 years of traveling time and space I've never met someone who wasn't important."

Yeah, that was a surprise thing I had on my home sheets, but wasn't on the sent out role. It was supposed to be there though.
3 lives does feel like a lot, but without it I felt that perhaps the mafia was a bit underpowered. Cthulhu needed to be big and bad, and that was my attempt to do so. The first death awakened Cthulhu, the second ruined his skin suit, and the 3rd to actually defeat the beast.
I'd never used a PGO before. It was super easy to lynch SP, and you could win with him still alive, but you didn't know that. I figure, if nothing else, I made a mistake in not telling you that.
The Terrible Old Man role was probably a bit much. A lot of my townies had kill powers, which, when writing the game, gave it a a good sense of balance.
The town had a lot of killing potential, if they were careful early and a mason group to coordinate with, the SK had a possible partner, a few people they could win with, and some handy kills. The mafia had a janitor and some recruitments, to go with upgraded powers they could earn. The cult had nothing but a recruiting and the ability to become an avatar of Yog-Sothoth, and a kill, should their leader go down instead of the ability to recruit.
I'm sure things could have been more close to a center, but I felt I at least gave everyone a fighting chance.
I loved reading along! Wish I hadn't tried to cop the PGO night 2 (especially when he outed himself the next day). Had tons of fun watching the twists and turns, and congrats to the cult on the win! I wish I would've kept myself alive long enough for my alignment copping to be of some use!
I also enjoyed the interwoven stories, zyx. You did well making the Lovecraft characters fit in at the Asylum.
For the record, adam, I wanted you recruited with us. Unfortunately, it was a risk to try to target you since I had a chance to turn you into a role-block nexus.
And by the way, I damn near bit my tongue off the day after I was lynched. There were a lot of ####### comments being made about me defending myself as not cult. I went and vented on the cult's proboard about it, but I feel vindicated with the game's ending.
Congratulations, my cultist friends!
Yea, I read through the proboards. I had pretty much come to the conclusion you were cult by the end of the day phase we spent arguing with Rokk and MSU, but I didn't want to say I thought you were cult because then I still wanted you to bodyguard me. I also got the feeling that Rokk and MSU were scum, so I didn't want to side with them either.
Well I guess I Should have been more liberal with my spell use, as I didn't do anything for the first 2 or 3 nights, trying to get a feel for the game (I didn't want to go firing blindly killing and blocking indiscriminately), until I blocked FF which made me think Q was a guide when he was able to succeed, then I doctored Adam when he outed himself as the doc, which proved to be a waste as he was being body guarded by K-ness. Although, even if I did use all my spells from day one, I don't think I would have been able to use them all anyway, as I had 2 of the lawyering spells left, the kill spell, and the other doctor spell. The night Rokk was killed I was trying to guide him, so the RB makes sense but I never knew, because I rarely got a success or failure notice from night to night.
I guess the only things I did that made any difference was to make myself untargetable when I did, because I figured people would think I was the JK, and the banishment and lawyring down of Disco.
Also, Z, the night I targeted San, was I misdirected into MSU, or was that how you were explaining someone from the GI Joe universe.
Also, what was the deal w/ the Rats and the guards on day 1?
