Personally I don't think Vulcan is worth that many points... but I do really like Wolvie/ Collosus duo!

I'm now a LOT more curious about that Sabertooth....... He sounds like he's got the power Daken SHOULD have had.

if the chases are actually super rare, that would then mean there will be more super rares to collect than rares? that would be a huge mistake.

if that is what is being reported, ok, but what are they basing it on? do they have a juggernaut in hand to confirm?

This. I thought she was a steal for 66 points, secondary attacker, plus 18 defend/imperv. Sign me up! When that X-Men TA comes into play, you can bet I am going to be keeping her on that second golden click.

I'm personally excited to get "The Captain" as he might be one of those guys that is hard to get as he's a Super Rare (got him on Evil-Bay), and if I do happen get another one.... I can always use him as a bargaining trade piece for those I don't get :D

Not too impressed with the sentinels, really don't want a frost giant at all. Nemesis/Holocaust looks great and I want one. I think they will easily hold their value though, so I'm thinking of buying one more in addition to my case.

Honestly don't know about that. Could be that there is a set checklist within the boosters like older sets, or they could just be guessing based on Vulcan being a rare. Don't remember seeing anything stating where they got the info.

vulcan being a rare doesn't necessarily prove that juggernaut is a super rare. it could still be that up to 48 is a rare. i certainly hope so, since it would be a shame if they made Storm a super rare AGAIN.

and to have less rares than super rares would also be horrible. i like the idea of having to collect only 9 super rares though, but then that would mean chases, so i am kind of torn here.

I'd say that before the Frost Giant was spoiled the four super boosters I'm getting would be fine. But now I might buy a couple more. They are one of my main wants of this set now.

I pre-ordered 5-6(not sure what the one store is doing), and after seeing 4 of the 6 dials I want more. I love generic armies so multiples of the sentinels and frost giants are very appealing to me. I kind of want to pretend the frost giants are monster island monsters and put them with moloids and mole man. The sentinels with their double incap and outwits will help one or two 100 IC sentinels be almost effective with their capture. I think I will try to get two of each of the generic ones.

It's no different that why was Jubilee in Supernova, or Adam Warlock and Magus in Secret Invasion, or Superman Prim in Arkham Asylum, or....well you see what I am sayin

Its great to have a theme type set, but good to leave room for some other characters. I like seeing other characters that are not set themed. cause if it was 100% set themed then a set like Supernova would have probably been nuthin but figs over 200 pts. lol

I for one am stoked at this set. I'd say for future sets if they do this to maybe include like 2 figs and maybe an event dial for they type of colossal if it fits for a cool senario/game. since the sentinel pack and Anti Monitor packs had 2 figs at like 25 30 bucks.

The frost giant is indeed awesome!

Not a fan of the peanut base.. but that's about the only downside to this duo.. though I'm waiting to see the final wording on the Defense Power.. if it's once per turn you choose.. then that's awesome.. he heals on your turn and soaks up damage on your opponents, or even heals if he's in a safe spot..

I would of prefered a new single colossus with a better Fastball Special SP.. but this'll work..
