I think the Gotbots only had a couple of special mini-series. I don't know if they even had a daily show, did they?

Did you ever see any of the Transformer knock-offs? They were exactly the same molds, just different colors and a cheaper plastic. I still find them occasionally at Big Lots. Actually saw the Aerialbots knock offs not too long ago.

You mean knock offs of transformers or the molds of gobots hasbro used to make the color changers? I haven't seen them at big lots but I will check that out next time I'm in one.

Transformers. Kind of like a generic Japanese brand or something. I got all the Constructicons, but they're yellow, and not green like the "official" ones. It's kind of cool. I have a yellow and green Devastator next to each other on a shelf upstairs. I also got a cheap version of the original Jetfire.

Edit: Maybe I should refer to them as bootlegs or copies. They were the same mold, just different colors.

I'll definitely be looking for those then. Even just to see them. Watching them on the hub has me feeling very nostalgic. Guess Hasbro got its marketing hooks deep inside me as a child.

I watch them on the Hub, too. I own all the episodes on DVD, but watch them on TV anyway. Don't know why I don't just pull out the DVDs and watch those.

There is just something about watching them on the hub that makes me feel like a kid in the eighties again. The sad thing is I didn't really care for the eighties. I've been watching most of The Hub's programming actually. Even the little preschool shows they have in the morning while my daughter is playing.

I think The Hub just stole someone's DVD collection and is airing it.

I watch Transformers and G.I. Joe on the hub and find myself thinking, "I seriously thought this was good when I was a kid???" I'm glad I kept the toys. They're all on shelves in one of my rooms. A guy I worked with gave me an original Megatron he had as a kid and was going to get rid of. That was cool.

Just to let everybody know I won't be on here probably AT ALL tomorrow. Driving to TheAvengerThor's house to stay for the week and attend the shindig at his venue.
