I was the judge at the GA prerelease and I can understand why people are upset but I would like to state a few facts:
1. I only got one complaint about the kid who won fellowship and that was from the young lady that he played against...
This is the last thing I have to say about this, why didn't more people complain about this kid to the judge? I can see not saying anything after the first match when he stopped doing it after his first attempt, but from what I hear the kid acted like a little #### through all three of his games. Being generally rude, and showing no level sportsmanship. After the third match I think there would have been enough evidence to throw this kid out or at least prevent him from getting fellowship, which brings me to my next point. It is very difficult to give out fellowship sometimes. I like the idea of doing fellowship this way, often times even at events with much smaller turn out it is hard to find a person that really merits fellowship. I've been to plenty of tournaments where no one was particularly nice, or generally fun to play against. Where no one played any teams that were even in the shadow of creative or fun to play against. Tournaments where everyone just seemed to be in a bad mood. The only problem with this is that nice players are always too nice and the ####### players are always too much of an #######.
Also, people who aren't judges should never interject their opinion on a rules situation into games where they aren't asked. Even judges, should avoid just walking by and giving spot judgements unless they are the event judge.

300 pts. 3 actions. All teams must have one version of Elektra on their team. All other figures on your team must be ninjas, samurai, or related characters. Unrestricted.
Titans 07/09:
Crossover:
300 pts. 3 actions. Your team must consist of figures from different comic book universes that have been featured in a crossover book. For example, Spider-man and Superman, Batman and Danger girl, Batman and Judge Dredd, Batman and Captain America, Silver Surfer and Green Lantern, and so on. These figures must have been in a crossover book together. Unrestricted.
A Batman/Danger girl team could be:
E Batman (Lgy) + Armor Piercing (94+10)=========104
E Abbey Chase (Indy) + Armor Piercing (52+10) =====62
R Catwoman (Ht) + Pounce (48+15) =============63
V Sydney Savage(Indy) (42)==================42
Alfred(6)=============================== 6
In Contact with Oracle====================== 20 Total================================297
Which would be legal because all of these people appeared in the actual book.
As always drop me a PM if you have any questions.

This would be pretty easy for anyone who wanted to play the JLA vs. Avengers. It seems this will give them the most options.
I would play a Hulk/Darkness team. The comic was a pile o/#### but Keown drew it so it looked amazing. You would have to pile a lot onto the hulk but you could also put pounce onto the Darkness who like a few other good pouncers has L/C and blades.
I think that this could be fun. Also, everyone I might be moving to England. Will you miss me? I think so. Because I am awesome.
Man, I must have missed something. There was a guy screaming at some kid? When and where did this happen?
As for the fellowship kid...I actually remember him trying this stuff...not sure which round though...and I even commented to him (and the guy he was playing) that you can't do it that way and laughing it off. I presumed it was a silly mistake...now? Not so silly huh?

I don't agree that it's inevitable this kind of drama is going to explode at every pre-release or big event. Every other venue in America is able to handle them with a minimum of fuss, so obviously something's going disasterously wrong at the local level with the people drafted to judge them.
I spoke to a couple of people at Origins about their pre-release. Fellowship is a problem most everywhere. I heard really good things about the one in Kentucky, but they only had about 30 or so players. That can make a huge difference.
Did everyone take the Fantastic Forces survey at wizkids?

Does anyone know how much it costs to live in England?
I have applied for a position in the U.K. They seem pretty interested. They asked what I want as far a salary goes. I am not certain what to ask for. I do not know how money will change over to the pound. I am not certain if I should base it on what I would ask for here in the states. And just convert it to pounds. This does not seem like the case but I wanted to ask you guys. You all seem like intellegent people. I thought that one of you might have some information or know someone that might have this information.
