I honestly have no clue what the "T.A." initials stand for. Still, Janet Van Dyne was always a flirt, so, it makes some sense if those initials stood for the same thing as the slang ref.
Makes more sense the "Total Nonstop Action" wrestling... tho some wrestling may apply.

After looking up T.A. & Earth 8 on Wiki, I have a good excuse for getting around to reading JL Quarterly #3.

Sadly, were Unsung to confirm my answer as correct, my next question would have been to ask which Earth number this all happened on. Now, I will have to come up with something new if I did get it correct.
