But if you Perplex the Range of a HSS Fig from 0 to 1 he can now do a ranged HSS attack up to 1 square away, i.e. also from grounded to a roofedge. So in the end Nightcrawler could attack Bullseye on the roof without ever having to move up to that roof.
I did that in a game a while ago. Guy had someone on the edge of a building. I put my guy who had no range in the bushes right next to him. He didn't think his guy was in any danger untill I perplexed up my guys range to 1 and shot him.
I use a lot of range most of my team has range of 10 except pyro which I use for barrier and Johnny alpha which I use for TK my idea is to attack from dinstance while they get close and barrier my self while they get close and whenthey get close I usually try and scape as fast as I can and keep attacking.
my favorite nasty tactic is to move a stealthy vet robin into an unsuspecting position on the other side of the map with batman running interference with his outwit drawing out the opponent's best close combat character to deal with him. then use my deo agent and batgirl's perplex to boost up robin's damage to 4, or attack to 10 and damage to 3 to soften whoever it is for the bat to hit for 3 more and ko or escape with lc. i also love to throw the atom against the oponent's weakest character when he tries to heal him/her.

my newest tactic involves using perplex on cyborg's damage and then tking him to the opponent's strongest character and pulse waving for 5. i also love using the deo agent to increase a character's attack value by 2 wth pd skill and perplex. works great with any green lantern. used a similiar tactic against galacticus with kc supes and 2 deo agents and a mandroid. used deos perplex to boost his damage with shield team for a third ala rule of three and the two pd skill for +2 attack to do about 8 damage.

Psychic Blast + Mind Control against impervious? I thought under the new rules you couldn't roll impervious against mind control anyway because it's not a damaging attack. Is that right or do you get to roll? (Assuming you didn't get a critical hit on the mind control roll)
i'm not completely sure if this works, but i have V Bullseye, a R Swat Specialist and Perplexer on each side, with a R Invisbile Girl behind all three, and Destiny next to her, It should line up to make Bullseye souped up, and they often have the exact same number of moves, so I move em together, and i call it my "tank" of the heroclix world
My new tactic is based on perplex + psychic blast and TK the oponent to range using Quasar, the main idea is to move quasar to a point where he is in rage to figure and tk the figure near my white queen and blast the figure away with her psychic blast and barier the oponet so he cannot escape.
I know it cheesy but hey, I win so I think I'll use it 'till some one beats me up.
I was at a torney with my friend and he had a vet ulik and i had hepzibah vet black panther and they both missed. We were playing roll a double 6 and the person you attack is automaticly dead. So i pushed and for phune attack wihtj her and i rolled a double 6 taking out the ulik and got le superman and le shazam. in a trade with whot i won
I love to have R Mandarin outwit my R Hellboy's Battle Fury when hellboy is on his 3rd click, then put a Psylock or three next to him, perplex his attack, then ranged combat any poor soul in his 6 range. Only used it once, but i did 8 clicks of damage to the opponent.
PS, using the BPRD team ability and copy the sinister syndicate team ability with V bullseye next to Hellboy could increase the damage dealt because -Bam- Hellboy has 11 attack and the perplexers are still free. This means you could perplex Hellboy's damage, and increase the affect of theis cheesy tactic
Note: This tactic only works in high point games (EX 1000, 2000...)
"Thor Slingshot". Take V. Thor, perplex up his damage to say 9 or 10, TK him and RS to reach figs at the back of the board. I love using it to take out snipers and Nightcrawlers.

At least this tactic is limited by the rule-of-three now. 7 Damage is still bad enough, but at least not a one shot kill for the big bruisers.
I like to go fishing. Mind control your Superman or Black Adam or Amazo or anyone else big and bad. Use HSS and move right next to my Sentinel or Sinestro, then pick 'em up. ####, that tasted good and thank you for the 400+ points.
