(Speed) Fury Enough To Destroy Countries: Black Adam can use Hypersonic Speed. If he can also use Close Combat Expert or Exploit Weakness, he can use that power as a free action instead of a close combat attack while using Hypersonic Speed.

The only problem with this is it may now make some figs more over costed/undercosted than before. Yes it does reign in some of the major powers, but remember they were made with a piont cost working how the current pack works, not the new one. Wizkids has only gotten better with each rule and pack change so the only problem I have now is Alot of fiqures playability has to be re-evaluated. Anyone esle kinda see this?

seems like 50 points of some fun to me with his EE, smoke cloud, and Forceblast. Plus the Calc TA...... But that could just be me wanting to run a nutcracker around the board.

Only if you believe that they were perfectly costed before. Perhaps this alteration is only a correction for powers that didn't end up being as good as WK designers thought they would be. Given that many Realmsers have been looking for changes to Smoke Cloud, Force Blast, EE for years... I think this is a levelling adjustment. YMMV if it overbalances in the future.

I don't see re-evaluating to be a problem, I see it as a HUGE opportunity. I see it as the game company suddenly giving me dozens of new options. A HeroClix piece which has suddenly tripled in effectiveness is as good as a new HeroClix piece. I never used to consider Hardball or Moronic Flan or Code Blue Officer as possibilities for my force. Heck, even Gravity Feed Mysterio looks interesting (he can effectively reduce enemy by 2, which is nothing to sneeze at.)

I've been using Star-Lord a lot recently on HCO, and have become really fond of him. With the changes to Ranged Combat Expert, Star-Lord has become even more of a beast the whole way down the dial. He pretty much has +2 AV the whole dial now. Or if needed, a 3 damage and 11 or 10 AV. All unoutwittable too, thanks to the GotG ATA.

I'm looking forward to the boosts to Doom and Darkseid.
As for archers, I'm looking forward to them getting more "ranged Flurry" SPs in the future, because while I didn't particularly agree with them getting before, most sure as hell don't deserve it now!

Agreed. Which makes the repeated posts about the addition of pink powers making all older clix obsolete (as if everybody would get them always ) even more odd. Older figures got much love here.

Sure, hypersonic was nerfed a little bit, but his back end numbers never really impressed me. Now the changes to super strength give him the option to boost his defense at range. And ranged combat expert means he will be able to get some decent attack values to go with his consistent damage. Finally, ten range force blast will help keep the opponent from basing him too easily.
I was gonna bring him up.
