Lets use some logic, alright?

Night 1: two kill attempts, both succeed. Dodgeball and PhoenixFire.

Night 2: one kill attempt: Dodgeball.

PheonixFire admits to the kill, claims vig.

Suppose PheonixFire is mafia: a mafia kill would have gone through that was not PheonixFire. PheonixFire should have gotten the town block last phase (or Quebbster), and it would be too risky for the mafia to assign him the kill. Hence, PheonixFire is likely not mafia.

Suppose PheonixFire is the Serial Killer. That would make Dodgeball mafia. Fits: one kill on each night, same killer. PheonixFire making a kill as a serial killer could have been blocked by the town block. Fits.

Suppose PheonixFire is the vig. That would make Dodgeball either mafia or the SK. And then why only one kill? That would make the other faction a cult, and the 'drag' a cult recruit instead (however bizarre it looked). I could see the first one being turned into Cousin It (the hairy one, right? Or am I getting names wrong?), and the second turned into Lurch (butler).

Mistakes are made. Perhaps my real target's results would have you applauding me. I didn't kill anyone last night now did I?

If the town blocked Quebbs and Quebbs was killer, DF could still be scum.

Plus, what's a bag-of-tricks doing going for a hit on N1? He says on more than a hunch, but hasn't said what that was or tried to pressure that person.

If he RB-ed last night, why wasn't it on Quebbs (by his own admission)?

By now it's probably obvious, *I* am the town RB. I blocked Quebbs last night. I thought it was PF, but I forgot that I had decided on Quebs at the last minute over PF.

That's why I wanted to know if PF was claiming blocker as well as vig.

Also, if there's a mafia, SK, AND a cult in a 12-player game, we should probably just give up now.

All very good questions. If PheonixFire, Quebbster, or both are on a mafia together, I would guess that there would be a third member and that member would have made the hit. That is the only thing that has me thinking PheonixFire is not mafia.

He might be the SK and noticed that no block appeared in the write-up, though.

In likeliness:
1. He is the SK. The mafia is throwing balls.
2. He is the vig. The mafia / the SK is throwing balls. There is a cult.
3. His is the mafia and they flubbed a kill somehow that did not make it into the write-up somehow. The SK is throwing balls.

Here's what I think has happened.

PF given kill N1, claims vig. Tracking backs up fact that he did target RP. No reason given for use of power, claims misdirected, hasn't given up actual target, hasn't gone after actual target in day phase when we were casting about for pressure subjects.

N1, I block Quebbs, only one kill. Looks like Dodgeball is SK. Looks like no Mafia hit. bob confirms I targeted Quebbs.
